Torchy's Tacos embodies the bridge between Austin BBQ and fresh Mexican food. I tried the Republican and the crossroads as well as their famous Queso and chips. My recommendation is to grab an order of the queso and chips while you wait for your tacos to be prepared. The freshness of the ingredients, paired with great meat just can't be beat!
The atmosphere ?? was awesome along with great customer service and food. My family enjoyed it and will definitely be visiting again.
Out of all the Torchy’s in Austin this is the one I have had the worst experience with. Ive had bad experiences with this location before but thought since it had been a while maybe things would be better?? Then, I ordered three tacos a few days ago and all of them were so significantly soaked with grease that they fell through the bottom of the bag when I was walking them to my apartment. when I opened the foil of each taco the tortillas were so soggy that when I tried to pick them up they fell apart and stuck to my fingers like slime very sad ? just avoid this location.
I love this place the food is always good with fast service. I had the Pork taco special the Tokyo drift it was amazing ? I get my usual brushfire & sprite the food is always delicious & presentation is on point. It's my favorite around the corner spot from home & will always recommend for a nice bite to eat. Will be coming back again soon ?

Torchy's has really great tacos. They're not authentic mexican or healthy, but they are tasty and pretty reliable. This location is usually not very busy. Order ahead and pick up if you you wanna be extra quick.
Anyone else’s pickup orders always significantly later than the time they tell you?I’ve placed multiple pickup orders and always end up waiting 15+ minutes. Even our DoorDash order canceled because they couldn’t wait.I keep coming back to this location because it’s closest to my work but you might be better off choosing a different store.

The manager was out on the floor, friendly and keeping things clean and nice, which I really appreciate. Food was great. Came out quickly and was a generous portion. Love the outdoor seating area.
