The cherry blossom is a hit. Soft shell crab wrapped n avacado. Delish!! I also ordered the chef special of 5 sushi and crunch roll. Five stars y'all ?
Great sushi place, cozy atmosphere and great sushi rolls. Chefs choice was a great way to try different things.
This place is incredible. Much better than some of the more fancy ones I've been too. Ari was absolutely amazing. She had the best recommendations and just took care of us as we were overwhelmed with choices. She made the experience. So so good. Also loved the fried cheesecake. The flavors of all the sushi were incredible. We kept ordering we couldn't stop. So addicting. Thank you.
I finally tried this place. You must make a reservation ahead during dinner time and peak days. Call ahead otherwise you may be turned away or waiting for an hour or more. I was really excited to try this place. I had a reservation and was seated at the bar in the corner. I was ignored for a good 10 mins before I was able to get wait staff attention. It basically feels like you’ll be neglected if you aren’t a regular. I opted for the sushi dinner which includes 8 nigiri pieces and a choice of tuna or California roll. Maybe because it’s a combo deal but the nigiri pieces were cut awful. The quality of the fish was not great. For $30 you’d expect better quality. I also opted to get another roll and additional nigiri pieces. My diner in total was $60 so it wasn’t cheap. Not sure the quality is worth the price imo.
Decided to grab lunch with my mom and girlfriend to try this sushi place. We were welcomed by a waitress with a terrible attitude and maybe even racism. Before speak on what happened… THE FOOD WAS AVERAGE AT BEST. CHECK THE PLATE AND CUPS BEFORE YOU DRINK. There was oil stains and lipstick on our cup and plates.Story time:We were seated. The waitress DECIDES FOR US we were all having water. When I asked for green tea, she slams the green tea and multiple dishes on the table as when she was serving us. Became upset when we ask for a new green tea because the glass was stained with lipstick. The entire time she served us with an attitude but not anyone else around us. We are asian just as she is and she treated us differently? Out of respect for my mother I did not cause a scene on how terrible this waitress customer service was. I work as a wedding caterer. This type of customer service shouldn’t be acceptable by any restaurant/ or customer.NEVER COMING BACK. If you are Vietnamese. Steer clear you might get treated differently.At least avoid the TALL ASIAN WAITRESS WITH THE PONYTAIL. The staff obviously doesn’t care. I am going to recommend people DO NOT come here, when asked about a sushi restaurant.
Small and homey restaurant with a wonderful staff and tasty food. I ordered the tonkatsu and the David roll and they were very impressive.I ended up ordering more after we paid the check. I ordered the Screaming Orgasm and I highly recommend it.My only complaint is that it can feel a bit cramped, but I am a pretty big dude so it could be more of a me problem.
OMG. Their Cherry Blossom is a must have. ALL their sushi is amazing and the Cucumber Sake is yummy!
Visited Tomodachi for the first time for a birthday dinner, it is a small restaurant, very cozy and welcoming. The staff was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive. Fresh ingredientes, fresh fish.The only negative is that you can only stay 1.5 hours and you get your bill 10-15 minutes before the time is up, giving chance to pay, leave and for them to sanitize the area before the next reservation. I will still come back here, but if you’re trying to come here for drinks and stay longer than what your reservation states I will suggest to eat and go somewhere else for drinks.
It was an amazing date night with lots of good food. Ask the waitress for suggested rolls, You won't be disappointed! They have some off menu rolls that were the best.Make sure you call ahead or get reservations because the first few times we tried eating at Tomo they had a 2 hour wait.
We told our server, manager, and sushi counter employee that my boyfriend had a severe shellfish allergy, and they they needed to use separate gloves when preparing our food. Staff was not careful, and he had an allergic reaction. We alerted the manager, and the staff argued with us about the complaint. I don’t feel safe eating here after the experience. I’m very disappointed in how it was handled.
