The spice/flavor is excellent, but the tenders were overcooked. Runny ranch dressing, at .75¢ extra, and a $1.00 to-go fee. That's a bit cringe, in my opinion. You've got something there, but maybe just remember tenders don't take as long as bone-in. I'm giving it 3 stars for the dry rub flavor, and the super nice people working there. ?
The only way too order is on line..Lolpop drums are cooked perfect .But the 2 sauce I tried buffalo n fire ranch there was next too no sauce or rub a ranch cup helps cause it was bland..If it was not for the well cook wings I'd say never again .But I'd try again and hope for that 5 star wing. But at $30 for 10 wings they should be on point every time
Absolutely amazing wings best ones in Austin. However when I spend $300 on an order and specifically ask to not get sauces or plasticware because I'm trying to reduce my impact on the planet with single use waste and I get this....Please listen to your customers when they say they don't want sauce. Now I have all this plastic waste that is going to end up in our landfill. Also am now drinking McCormick s to cope ?
I have eaten Tommy Want Wingy on many occasions and I love both locations. Just a heads up that they only have lollipop wings, so drummettes only and there are no flats or whole wings. The flavor options and sauces are good. I enjoy the lemon pepper wings with sauces on the side to try. I also like their Parmesan fries. The only downside is the pricing, in which it has increased quite a bit, since my last time eating there. Lollipop wings are quite small. The price for 10 wings and fries is now $30.50. For only 5 wings, no fries was $13+. I can’t say for sure but I don’t think I have paid this much before. I understand the increased pricing of food, but I don’t know how often I will eat TWW with the inflated prices. The food was never cheap, but $30 for wingettes is a bit much for me to justify.Overall, good food esp when out on Rainy St. but expect to pay
This place is great. Plenty of space for a big group, affordable drinks, and not too loud. Bartenders were great. Went here 2 nights in a row.
Slightly above average wings served at ludicrous prices. This particular location is a small food truck parked on the deck bar on Rainey Street, fairly convenient to get some wings during a night out.Wings are lollipop style which makes them a little easier to eat, more of a novelty than anything. The reason I dock a couple stars is because their current prices are tough to swallow... $14+ for a lousy 5 wings. I understand restaurant supply chains are in a tough spot like a lot of industries, but that price does NOT match the quality of the food.Much better bang for your buck options in the area.
I got the lemon pepper and garlic parm, it was Delicious!!! Mostly the garlic tho. I felt the lime juice was too overpowering and not as good as the garlic. And another reason it got 4 stars…13$ for 5 wings. Wingstop is just as good with a better price!! Also I love how they fry their wings. I’m not sure with what kind of oil, I’m guessing they used pig fat. it was delicious. The presentation and frying makes this a tad better than wingstop. I bought from one of their food truck
Excellent wings. I have tried their garlic parmesan, spicy pineapple, ranch on fire, Buffalo and holy schnikes....multiple times...taste has been consistent and excellent....definite recommendation.
Great food. Great people. Got 2 orders of the wings w/ tots (tots should be sold on Thier own that's how good they were) was told they text me when food was done. Well I started drinking and minutes later checked my phone seen a text "Wings are ready" and I walked back to order window and the guy who made the food was walking to me already and stated that he was going to go and look for me so I could get my food I paid for. I just appreciate that because he could of left my food by window and let it get cold but no. True customer service skills right here. Way to go above and beyond boss. Appreciate the food and good vibes! Definitely.
Delicious wings, a little on the pricier side at this time but overall a good experience.
