This place really gives me a 90’s vibe. Turkish delight is my fav.

Worst experience ever. Started with the employee being more concerned about making funny puns than getting the sandwich right. Half the ingredients missing, employee came up with the answer “I’m not in the mood to really make sandwiches today”, when I asked about the missing ingredients, the excuse was “they’re usually not on the sandwich”, it literally mentioned them on the menu underneath the sandwich, apart from that, of the ingredients that were on it there was one slice each, no sauce, mayo or anything, all bland… went once, never again!

I've lived in Austin for just over 40 years and never tried ThunderCloud before. Having started a new job where there's a ThunderCloud right across the street, I gave the menu a glance and decided to venture over for lunch.Probably the best meatball sub I've had. Probably also the messiest meatball sub I've ever had. The quality and quantity put the national chains to shame along with the customization options. The staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely adding to the lunch rotation now.

Really great place for a sub or salad. I got the sub with the egg salad and it was amazing. Add a cookie and chips for only $2 more. Overall great value for price

Rating is purely on cleanliness of location. Both bathroom and toilet were very dirty including no hand soap to wash hands. Although the food is always great here, I felt a little different about it this time.

Was in town for a day, stopped by here on a whim. I’m very impressed.

Fairy decent subs but not much creativity or exclusivity. The Italian was decent while the California club was tasty. Try the egg salad or Pastrami in a pinch. I think it’s an Austin thing?

I've been eating at one T-Cloud or another since I was in high school (and that was a long time ago - mid eighties). No-frills casual lunch (or dinner) stop for high-quality and fresh ingredients. They will make your sandwich to order and do so quickly. It's just an Austin institution and has been successful by sticking to the same model year after year - great sandwiches at a great price. Plus, there is always good music on while you wait or while you eat. It ain't the Four Seasons, so don't go in there with your fancy-pants attitude and you'll be fine. I'll feely admit to being a little bit of a homer for Austin businesses but these sandwiches are just better than the national chain competition - by a lot. Austin's original and one-of-a-kind!

We had a blast. My mom's birthday celebration. The food was delicious and the great entertainment.

Great subs...fast service.
