Great Sausage and beans.
This food is amazing! The people are also super friendly and care about the customers. I would definitely recommend and I’m coming back to try more of the menu.
I was hungry for some catfish so was trying to make out the menu (I could see Oxtail with beans, rice, and gravy from the street). I went to pull in and almost ran over the proprietor - but it was all goid after that. They did, indded, have catfish and it was wonderful. Sides, a starch and starch, of course! (French Fries, Mac & Cheese). What a delicious meal.
The food is
The best Soul food in East Austin. Friendly customer service, it was raining and a lovely lady brought they food to my car. They don't serve the same food every day so you just have to pull up to see what's on the menu. There is a lot of competition out there but this is the only place I go to when I eat out. The food here is made fresh and is always the best.
Catfish is a knockout!
