Food Court Food Trucks

We have a deep seated love for food trucks so being in an area swarming with them was a dream. We had hoped to visit a handful of FT parks but ran out of time so The Picnic is the only one we made it to. BUT, it was such an awesome experience we have no remorse! We sampled food from 5 different trucks & every bite was heaven. Seating area covered & clean! Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!!!

Where else can you get a lobster roll, spaghetti, gumbo and empanadas?!?This place is super cool. I’m not the biggest fan of the dogs walking around everywhere, one in particular decided to relieve himself on the corner of the table we had sat at initially, it it’s Austin. Austin is weird. If you can’t get down with weird go check out Houston.Otherwise this place is a great place to swing by after taking a dip in Barton Springs pool!

We got food from several carts and they were all lackluster. The falafel burger was by far the best item we had. I also got the falafel plate (picture) which was dry.

Always awesome food trucks with amazing food. Must visit when in Austin. About 2 minutes from Barton Creek.

I've tried 3 different food trucks here and am always disappointed. The food is lack luster at best especially with the price. There are way better food trucks, with way better food for the same price everywhere except here. I tried the taco place today and it was disgusting. I got brisket nachos for $12 for a tiny amount of chips and the "brisket" was rubbery and tasted like it came from a can. Super gross. The only reason people come here has to be because of the location or they are from out of town and don't know any better. If you like good food, I'd look elsewhere!

Wanted to experience something fun prior to heading to the airport. Great variety, great prices, great time!

Great atmosphere and very good food. We were looking for something different and this place was perfect! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Love love love food trucks and this park is pretty cool had chicken wraps and brisket tacos and a few other things this was the first time I’ve been to this food truck park while I was in Austin Texas I will be back that’s for sure!!!

It was New Years Eve night around 6pm when we went, and only 3 of the trucks were open. The one we had was a Cajun food place and it was not very good at all. The shrimp I had on my poboy was very dirty and the $8 grilled cheese we got for our son was of same quality from a fast food place.

The selection of trucks is ok. I didn’t enjoy any of them that much. I think the idea is great but they need to be more discerning about which vendors come in. Maybe time to change it up. One person working, orders took forever and they had no tortillas (half the menu is tortilla based) The second I tried served Po-boys. The guy serving was rude, arguing with customers and sooo dirty. He had long dirty nails and the whole truck is unsanitary. I couldn’t even order. ? There is another Dog treat truck, I tried them out but my dog hated the treat. It was a waste. To be fair, I never tried the Lobster roll truck, way to $$$ for a roll. And lastly, Thai truck was pretty good. Seems clean, fast and friendly. The best option to me. Overall, they need to overhaul and I almost forgot to mention there are homeless guys that frequent, screaming and cussing each other almost fist fighting Kinda cringe.
