Alexis our Bartender was wonderful! The Mexican Martini is delicious and it’s a nice atmosphere!
Went here with a co-worker for lunch. Took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged our existence. However our weight person was quite polite and attentive at first. The fair was less than appealing. Seems like bar food that was trying to be better than it is. The only thing that appealed to either of us was the chicken cobb salad, which both of us decided on without even talking to each other first oh, and I'm not usually one for salads. Took the wait person a bit of time to respond to us after we got our food hot, and we ended up having to just leave with paid check on the table since she didn't come back before we left.
Everything on their menu sounded amazing, but I finally chose the triple grilled cheese with some of their 5 cheese Mac& cheese for the side! Also tried out the frozen margarita (added some strawberry flavor to it) & it was VERY good! ALL of it was excellent & I wished I wasnt so full so I could have tried the cinnamon-toast-crunch dessert thing we both found later in the menu. Seeing as my brunch companion ordered the Bypass burger (which was 3 meat patties with all the fixins.. and a grilled cheese sandwich for EACH bun?! Just LOOKIT THE PIC I GOT! Yeahhh no room left LOLDef hope to visit this place again soon! <^,^> Think I'll have to bring my parents by, great drink selection as well, not just beers!
The patio is dope, the servers are cute and the drinks are good. Haven't had any food other than the chips and dips. But they were good. Guac could use more salt, pepper and lime. I am an aggressive seasoner myself, that's just my preference. Happy hour is nice as well.
This evening we stopped by to have some drinks with some friends that hadn't been in Austin for 15 years. The first glass of beer that I received was dirty on the outside. The waitress, upon bringing to her attention was super friendly and apologetic about it and brought me a new one. We discovered that you can smoke on the patio and decided to close the ticket and move outside. When she brought me the ticket and I noticed that I was charged for that beer I brought it to her attention. She again sincerely amd immediately apologized and notified the manager Alexis. She came over, apologized, and stated that she was going to comp all of us 1 drink if we kept the charge on the credit card. (Remind you if they would have reimbursed the card it would have taken the bank 48 to 72 hours to put back in the account which she explained). The existing and new waitress outside were Phenomenal in there support and courteousness. Thanks again Alexis and the Wonderful and uniquely exceptional staff at Park!! If you are looking for a Great time to relax, have a drink, enjoy friends with even a bite to eat with over the top customer service....The Park on South Lamar is THE place to be!! Excellent food, delicious drinks, very comfortable atmosphere, good prices, and great service!We started off with the Chicken Satay Skewers & Carne Asada Street Tacos, and both were perfect. I can assure you there were no leftovers from either plate.For the main course I had the Chicken Carbonara Fetuccine, which was also excellent.The cocktails were great, too. Everything I tried was perfect. Will definitely be back for more again, soon!

I really miss this place. I am an old reggie of the hood. Alexis was exceptionally delightful. The vibe is always right with her friendly demeanor. This place is cool even when it's freezing outside.
In searching for a new place to enjoy chicken wings there was one place I have not been to in a long while, The Park. At first I thought I should have made reservations where the place was packed but luckily there was a table available. The place felt like an upscale sports bar and great place to hang out. TV monitors were all around showing various sports programming. The place was a bit loud but if you want a quieter atmosphere then suggest sitting in the partially outdoor bar area. Plus the patio area would been a good spot for those still cautious where patrons were seated really close together. I ordered the 5 Garlic Ranch Rub Farm Fresh Wings along with a draft beer. The wings were really good having a unique flavor among other restaurants. From my experience chicken wings tend to taste better from restaurants than wing places. They tasted like were slow cooked with nice spices on them. It had a side of ranch sauce to dip them in. We had a great time here and be back for more.
This place was horrible today! Food was extra salty. Tacos and chicken Carbonara was extremely salty and we left it there. Too bad the manager did not even show up to talk to us. Waitress was great and amazing!
