It's a bar. Several dart boards, like at least 10 probably more. Decent beers on tap, the ac works lol. Nothing fancy, that's for sure. Ample parking.
Great customer service, friendly people and cold fresh beer!!
At the risk of sounding ridiculous, here it goes. The younger (prettier) female bartenders are and have always been the issue at this place. They act as if they are doing you a favor whenever you ask for a drink. Eye rolls have been a consistent response along with a long sigh...The male bartenders do best along with the more mature female bartenders. I wonder what happened to Jackie. I live near by so I tried several times over the years. Same thing every time
The owner kevin is HOT and has really groovy dance moves
I’ve been coming up to this bar for a while now and every time I try to give it a fair shot. There are some bartenders that are amazing but it’s balanced by bartenders who don’t pay attention to you or act like you’re bothering them when you just ask for a drink…if you come up here you’ll definitely know who’s who. It really wasn’t too bad before but obviously something has changed over the past couple months. I’d be happy to give it another shot if some changes are made, but as of right now my wife, friends, and I won’t be up there anytime soon.
One thing I'll say they are true to their name. Apparently visitors are not welcomed to this local spot, which is sad because it's a phenomenal space & setup. My group & I encountered a rude and inept bartender on 1-17 at roughly 4pm. Didn't believe I was being a difficult customer at all, simply asked what type of beer was available. She couldn't distinguish between lager, pilsner, etc.and seemed frustrated by me asking. I'm not local to Texas and simply wanted to try a local beer to support the small business within the city. Not a very welcoming experience and the worst part of my groups overall amazing time in Austin. Plenty of better places to spend your money at.
Checked this place out while visiting Austin for the long weekend. Asked bartender if there was a drink menu: “no.” Asked what type of beer was the lone star beer: “I don’t really know.” Felt like I was bothering her and just moved on. Perhaps not everyone’s money is worth their time.
My bartender Raylen ignored me for the majority of the night to flirt with the male customers. I also saw her pocket a portion of the tips, which is very unfortunate. Wouldn’t recommend coming if she is working.
Weak drinks and [email protected]#t talking bar backs who couldn't whip their way out of a wet paper sack. Don't waste your coin with the middle aged GRAD party!
A large group of us went here for Friday night happy hour. Beer selection and service was fine but they played Rick Astley's "never gonna give you up" for 30 minutes straight because someone paid for it to happen. If you have a jukebox, you shouldn't allow that to happen.
