The Bon Aire is quickly becoming our Friday night favorite. Lots of cold beers on tap. Full bar, too. Great food! Burgers and kebabs are awesome. Fries are crispy. Cold boiled shrimp. I love I can come and get just what I want to snack on and go back for more if I want. Food’s a surprisingly good value for dollar. Haven’t missed yet. … Atmosphere is very chill. Good 90’s music playing. Free pool table. Really this place is a lot of fun. Totally worth a visit.
Food is good and for the price it is great! This may be low or no frills but food is very good and fast. Fun atmosphere but drinks and food separate so don't forget your tab at the bar
This place is excellent! I had a business meeting and we went here 3 days in a row. Not only was the service amazing and friendly the food and drinks we're amazing! They gave one of the best Old Fashions I've had in a while. Not only was the food, drinks and service great - you could actually talk. The music and atmosphere wasn't so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you. What a great place. Can't wait to go again when I'm back in Austin!
The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. You order the food and drinks separately here. Will be coming back soon!
The was my first visit to Bon Aire. I ordered the Fast Freddy Burger with Toasted Ravioli for my side since they don't have onion rings. They also don't serve sweet iced tea-shame! The burger is 1/2 lb and char-grilled which gives it a great flavor. There are plenty of burger places in Austin but most use a flat grill. I much prefer char-grilled. They have a self-service toppings bar so that you can dress your burger as you please which even includes A-1 sauce. That was a nice surprise as most burger places don't offer A-1 sauce. The ravioli were hot, fresh, and tasty with some delicious marinara sauce for dipping. The staff was friendly. You order at the counter and your number is called when the food is ready. All drinks come from the bar. The prices are very reasonable. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as plenty of TV's to watch sports.
great food and even better bartender!!
Good Cheap food and drinks. Can not go wrong
First time at The Bon Aire. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of space. It looks like they have daily specials and the food was cheap.I ordered a Mexican martini but neither bartender knew how to make it. I ordered a 10$ spicy magarita instead, but wasn't the best.We ordered a beef kabob, fries, and a burger. The food was tasty, but had no options for lettuce, tomatoes, etc for the burger. All and all I'd maybe go for a cheap beer and a kabob. I definitely wouldn't go back for a burger or cocktail.
The Bon Aire is such a gem! So happy to have discovered it. The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious, and the service and atmosphere is perfect. They have some delicious vegetarian food options as well. I highly recommend this spot!
To be honest we originally went to Pluckers first but after hearing an hour and half waiting we decided to check out this place. Thankful we did. No wait! We ordered directly from the kitchen. I had the chick on a stick and it was awesome! The wings are a dry rub and then baked then grilled to give a perfect flavor. Also had an order of fries and seasoned them up with a little bit of slap your momma. The service was quick and there are over 20 beers available. Screens are everywhere so if football watching is on the agenda they got you covered. We will be back!
