Friendly and helpful service. I asked if I could add Basotho my crab fried rice. The server initially said yes for a $1 but then came back and told meThat chef recommended no basil. I took their recommendations. The dish had a lot of real crab meat, but I think someone was accidentally tossed too much salt on it. The unlimited egg rolls and soups were really nice. The sale dressing was unique but waaaay too sweet. The coconut tapioca dessert was tasty and reminded me of my childhood!
The worst pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered to go and didn’t realize it was inedible until I was back at my hotel and all the restaurants are now closed. It’s so bad I would rather go to bed hungry than try to eat any of it. I will give them an extra star for giving me a refund.
There is so many reasons I’m giving two stars to this place. First of all, no greeting customers what’s so ever. Gave us a table and threw the menu across it and walked away. Good presentation was good but beef broccoli was gooey and slimy. Rice was in a heart shape but tasted like a broken heart. It wasn’t warm or fresh. Beef meat was rough and chewy. Lastly, bathrooms was smelly and old. Place looks old and boring. Spring rolls and egg rolls were fresh and tasted pretty good!
We came here to Thai cuisine because another place was too busy and we lucked out! The food was really good and perfectly made. The hot sake was good and paired well with the food. The restaurant was clean and able to keep all customers separated to the extent of their wishes. The service was fast and waitress was very kind.
The restaurant seats maybe fifty people, Our waiter was very nice and kept asking us if we needed anything. He was definitely a great asset to that restaurant. The sushi looked delicious, but then again looks are deceiving. The sushi we ordered was just okay, really not that good. The restaurant's furniture was out of date and cheap looking.I definitely wasn't impressed with the food and or looks of the restaurant inside or out.
This place will just always be 3 stars to me. I’ve been coming here for years. Recently they’ve done a menu revamp and even added a kids menu. The quality is still just always so so and very inconsistent. The lunch buffet is decent because you get some extras, but dinner here is not worth it.The kids meal was absolutely awful and I definitely will never be getting that again. The teriyaki sauce just tasted like soy sauce with sugar sprinkled on top. Very thin and watery. The chicken served with the kids meal was so tough it was almost inedible. Definitely not fresh.
Pad thai noodles is very delicious, little spicy but worth trying. If you are not pad Thai noodles fan tryout Basil fried rice.
Just came across this place randomly. We are new to Austin and looking for some good Thai food and the reviews sounded good. We went some basic dishes and it was really good so a week later, we went back again! We started off with the Tom Ka and added chicken with a medium spice. It's quite delicious and comes with tender pieces of chicken breast and the mushroom pieces are quite big. Highly recommend this soup! For our entree's we had the Pad Thai with chicken, Pad Se Ewe with chicken and the Thai Fried Rice. We chose the medium spice for everything it's a nice spice but not too hot. The Pad Thai was definitely some of the best we have ever had. We did order it with vegetables and it's a bit disappointing. Disappointing because you have to pay extra for the vegetables and they really don't add much. Again, these are great Pad Thai noodles but I wish they would just put in veggies like any traditional Thai restaurant. The Pad Se Ewe wasn't as good as the Pad Thai. The noodles were over cooked. We did eat it and if we go again, we might try again to see if that was just a bad batch. And the fried rice was similar to the Pad Thai. We ordered with vegetables and they barely added any in. Again, very disappointing to pay more for something and they don't add. And unfortunately this was delivery so it isn't as though we could send it back. Last, we had the Tofu Spring Rolls with the peanut sauce. They are quite good and I could easily eat these every day. Overall, this is a good Thai restaurant and we've already been twice and surely will go back again. Really looking forward to trying out some of the Chef's Special dishes.
This has been my favorite Austin sushi place since 2012. If starving, I could eat 3 orders of the Exgirlfriend roll, and wouldn’t get close to being tired of it. It’s certainly my favorite here.
Good Thai cuisine open until late night (10pm) in Parmer Lane. Togo orders are very fast and delivered on time. #HappyDining
