Great food Great service All team work, and very friendly.
I frequent the Texican in Kyle (and previously in Brodie); EXCELLENT food and service! However, I visited the South Austin location yesterday as it was closer and more convenient for my colleagues. Two out of three of us got the wrong order which they corrected. I ordered a piña colada on the creamy versus icy side, and our server asked me to go and personally request it from the bartender as she claimed that he would question her. Despite having directly ordered with the bartender, he was unable to make a decent piña colada which I returned (texture and taste were off). The chips and salsa came with our meals so we didn't have them to munch on with our drinks until our entrés arrived. I sensed our server had a bit of an attitude after we pointed out the mistakes within our food order. The manager and hostess were very nice. Overall, I will not return to this location. I will stick to my preferred location in Kyle which I highly recommend for a better quality of food and service.
Food was amazing. Service sucked, was on a date and our server did not know the menu. When we requested simple things like salt and pepper it took 10 min to get it. He refilled my tea once with no ice.. btw they don't have sweet tea, and when I asked for sugar he bought 2 packages. If trying to impress a date go somewhere else. Again Food was amazing.
Queso was great but it started and ended there. Tea was not fresh. The food we had a problem with because of the enchilada sauce. Original order wasn't right so I ordered and was charged for it to be "fixed" but it still was wrong. I was charged and had to pay for 2 plates x 2 which was 4 orders of food that was wrong. Nothing was eaten when it came to the plates we ordered. Queso is all we ate. We left hungry still and paid way more than we should have especially to have it all wrong.Very disappointed. Won't be back. Too bad because queso was really good.Waiter was hard to get help from, he was waiting on every table in the big section we were in so we couldn't be helped. I had to finally go hunt someone down to get my bill so I could pay. That is after I kinda tried to wave him down as he was brining out another tables food but he never came to help us.
Always good. Good Tex Mex and drinks. Come get you some.
Staff was courteous and very helpful with making sure our orders were correct. They were so polite with our remake we had due to a miscommunication. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely return for another meal in the future!
Everything I’ve had here is great but I really like the sour cream chicken enchiladas. This is also one of the few places I can find fried ice cream.
Really great food and great service from James!I had the Chipolte Chicken Enchiladas and my guest has beef fajita tacos. Both were EXCELLENT. I highly recommend. Plus, I love that there are privacy dividers between each booth and that the restaurant is very clean.
