The food was amazing but as it was my first time to visit I learned that it's definitely better to order online or over the phone so that you won't have to wait for your order. It was ready at the time I was given and even though they were working short staffed everything was great
I went to Terrys after ordering a fish dinner and an order of wings online. The order was ready on time, I received excellent customer service, but the food was mostly a disappointment. I had ordered wings from Terrys before but added an order of fish today. The wings were fine as always. But, don’t order the fish! I chose the cod. The coleslaw and okra were fine, but the fish…. overcooked, dry, almost burnt, and totally tasteless. I ended up tossing it. I won’t be returning any time soon. This is sad as I prefer to support local small businesses.
They make the best chicken tenders in town. I have had them three times so far, but can't stop eating long enough to take a picture. Carry out only due to staffing, and limited outside seating.
This has been the best staff and service including food for 10 plus years! However whomever the new cashier/representative that answers the phone, she is very rude and unprofessional. You need a new career darling. Shiya. Horrible customer service.
I have never heard of Terry’s before and decided to take a chance. I had just finished my blunt so I had time to kill. The counter people weren’t nice or welcoming, but the chicken proved to be fiercely delicious. It made the 30 minute wait absolutely worth it. The staff got into a heated argument, so that helped to entertain me while I waited. I haven’t had fried chicken like this since I lived in East Texas. I’ll make a point to call my order in next time so that I can avoid the dramatics.
This rating is for the wings, the good? They are huge, the sauce is decent. However they’re not crispy, and just not really what wing lovers looking for in a wing. I mean I give them a lot of credit for providing a big portion of protein at a great value but the Crispyness is just not there. Or who knows maybe I shoulda come in at another time Other than that slow Sunday during the playoffs. If things change I will definitely come back bc it’s in the neighborhood and very good “bang for your buck”
Best seafood i've had in Austin. Every single time I ordered from here they never fail to delivery quality seafood!
In response to owner: medical exemption is 100% okay to alter tyranny.. I was offered one package 3 times but I had two orders.. I told them I would wait outside.. there abiding to your “no mask no service) I get it.. you wanna be like everyone else but your only hurting yourself. Stressing employees.. understaffed. Sounds like you need to hit the fryer (owner) you should offer curbside if you plan on wasting peoples time. Waited for 40 minutes and couldn’t get my food because of a mask(I just had surgery to reattach my ear). My order was ready on the counter and they wouldn’t just hand it to me. Instead I was pushed out of the store and almost assaulted.. The effort of Unprofessional establishment no wonder y’all are under staffed. If they focused on getting the food out and not the customer
Delicious, generous portions with plenty still in our bag for leftovers! Places like these, so tasty and honest and reasonably priced, make me wonder how larger soulless chains stay in business. Spend ur money here and rest assured ur dinner will not be disappointing.
I haven't been here in years but it was steady business, even tho they were short handed everything was very nice and the food was amazing. Thank you Terry Seafood job well done my hubby love it he never been here before.
