This place is amazing. There’s employees did handmade dumplings showing in the bar such as sushi bar. Traditional way to make dumplings in front of you. The best dumplings I ever had. Nice decorations too! Very authentic. Highly recommended.

This restaurant recently moved from the ghost kitchen location (PrepATX) to the Chinatown center. They have homemade dumplings with a variety of fillings, braised pork and beef dishes, some rice/noodle dishes. I actually really enjoyed their sauce bar, which includes their homemade chili oil. This can be purchased in bulk as well. The dumplings were pretty average, didn't disappoint but also they were only offering boiled ones at the time of my visit (6/8/22). Lots of parking since it's in the Chinatown center and low noise level. Our party of 7 arrived around 6:30pm on a weekday and it was not busy, but the place was actually packed by the time we left.
Ordered takeout ahead of time. Pork chives dumplings and Shrimp dumplings. Did not have to wait. Went in, paid and left. Granted the time is near 4pm. The dumplings are placed in round plastic takeout containers and not the nice exquisite ones that I saw on the other reviews. By the time I brought it back, the dumplings were sticking together.The taste were good but there were more dumpling wrappings than the stuffing.Still need to consider that they relocated to this new location and their recent opening was May 15th. Give them a chance to settle and organize. Here hoping they settle in and get back to doing what they done in their old location.
It is a shame I cannot rate this place below a 1-star. I believe the dumplings have the potential to be actually halfway decent, if they actually manage to remember your order. The texture on the dumpling skin is nice and chewy because they are all made on the spot and never frozen. The interior is mostly clean. As some other reviewers mentioned, the water from the dispenser is just awful-tasting tap water. The separate "lemon" water did not do much to mask the taste, and is also not cold. Another thing to note is the self-serve condiment and utensils stations do not take any measures towards sanitation.That being said, the service here is absolutely atrocious and cannot be overlooked. During our visit, the restaurant was maybe at around 60% capacity, and yet they somehow managed to completely forget the two plates of dumplings we ordered. We waited almost an hour watching the customers that came after us finish their plates and leave. We approached the cashier who was extremely awkward and unhelpful -- the owner had to step in, only to tell us that they had run out of filling and had to remake them from scratch. Well it would have been nice if they had told us that before we placed the order. 15 more grueling minutes later, we finally received ONE plate of the WRONG dumplings. We ordered pork & shrimp dumplings, and ours only contained shrimp, while the rest of it was hollow. Unbelievable. We thought maybe they'd get the second plate correct, but after 15 more minutes of radio silence, we approached the cashier who tells us he thought we already received both plates. Wow. At this point we decided to cut our losses and asked for a refund.If you MUST have dumplings, either order take out or go someplace else. There are plenty of other decent places in Austin. It is not worth risking your time in an establishment that has such incompetent staff and zero regard for customer service.
Must visit!!!I ordered pork pickled cabbage dumplings. It was amazing. You're getting best quality on very low price.I am gonna try other dumplings for sure.This place is neat, clean and quiet.

Best dumplings ever! all dumplings are fresh and handmade like what we enjoyed in China. The side dishes, drinks and sauces are all great and originate! Not The owner is sooo nice and really passionate about his job! This restaurant made our day and we had a wonderful new year’s eve!Also note, it’s a small business and no physical restaurant currently. pls contact the owner for pickup!
This place is amazing. The kitchen is extremely clean. We order 5 boxes of dumplings for takeout and the packing is fabulous. We directly put it in the fridge and boil it in the other day. Other side dishes are highly recommended as well. Overall, this is really a great place.
