Food is ok but an Americanized version of Indian food. It was pretty busy so I tried to order from the touch pad. Selecting what you wanted was very smooth but then I couldn't figure out how to cash out. No matter what button I pushed It gave me an option of "Cancel" or "Yes". Both options cancelled my selection. I asked the cashier how i get to checkout and she said she had no idea. They I waited 25 minutes for my order. I asked for the cashier to check on my order and she turned around and grabbed my bag off a counter. It had just been sitting there and no one had called my name.
Tarka has many vegetarian and vegan options. This location was clean and well ran. Food came out quick! Samosas are delicious and coconut curry wasn't bad either.I'd go there again.
Decent food for everyone. We had tikka masala, vindaloo, chicken and lamb kabobs, mango and strawberry lassi, and garlic and regular naan. All were cooked well and we left with full bellies. The dining area is not the biggest, but there was room for everyone to eat comfortably.
I ordered using the mobile app. It was easy and fast. When I arrived at the restaurant, they immediately brought my food to my car AS SOON AS I parked. Everything was fresh and delicious. This is how online ordering should be!
Definitely not my favorite Indian food in the area. The sauces are just not super flavorful, run towards thin and the rice itself doesn’t have the good, lightly floral touch that you see in basmati at good Indian restaurants.Overall, I would categorize it as pretty bland but passable if you’re in a pinch for food and in the area. If you do stop in the best thing they offer is their mango lemonade - definitely give it a try.
Most excellent Indian food at a reasonable price. The Saag Lamb was great. But note that this is not fast food; it took about as long to prepare as any other Indian restaurant.
The Lamb Korma and Naan are absolutely delicious. A must try.
I've eaten here before and it was pretty good, but not tonight. I had not one, but TWO hairs I pulled out of my mouth. Totally gross!!Since this post the owner responded quickly and directly to me which shows they care. I was assured their protocol for food prep personnel with long hair would be revisited and addressed. I'm satisfied they will take care of this issue immediately. They are compensating me as well, so they are doing the right thing!Food is good for Indian style fast food, so I will give them another opportunity.
Fast service, good ambient. One of the curry was super salty. They did replace it with another. Taste is good but not authentic Indian.
This is an americano version of Indian food. It is not an Indian restaurantKofta is not made fresh, it is frozen. All the curry sauces have ketchup, not made from fresh ingredients. Naan is frozen, not freshly made.
