1st time ordering and I placed my order online. When I walked in all of the employees except one were sitting down, laughing, socializing and eating. I was not greeted by anyone, in fact they look at me as if I walked into their kitchen at home. I searched for my order and noticed it was delivery orders. I walked to the only employee behind the counter to advise I had a to go order, before I could finish my sentence, she cut me off, and said to go orders are on the side wall. I found my order and left. The only reason I gave it two stars versus zero, is because the salad was actually really good. However, if it comes with chicken and I omit the chicken, don’t give me a bowl half way full of veggies and rice. The service was horrible because it was nonexistent. The employees were more concerned with eating and socializing versus working. Even though the salad was good, I will not be returning because I hate spending my money with an establishment where the employees could careless about providing great service and display it so vividly with the energy they put out at work.
First time eating at sweet green and I thought my meal was delicious and a large portion. I got the Chicken Pesto Parm bowl. I will say the tables were pretty dirty which was probably due to understaffing. That’s the reason I’m giving a 4 instead of a 5.
The food is great, the employees are great. I need to subtract a star because the company doesn’t allow employees to be tipped. I don’t know all the ins and outs of this decision, but most of the people who come here have the money to tip if they want to. Sweetgreen seems to do really well and couldn’t do so without the employees. Not to be too snarky, but I included a photo of the company values. I think sweetgreen should do what they can to make it working here a “win“ situation for the employees too (no, I don’t think “company” or “community” are synonymous with the employees). Why not allow customers to tip if they want to?Respectfully,Kat
I’m reviewing because I LOVE sweetgreen, but there is obviously something wrong with this location. I REALLY hope they fix it. I ordered online and added the warm mushrooms ( 2 dollar add on). Now they didn’t give me a lot of anything… but there 3 mushroom slices ?. Come on sg, do better.
I wish i remembered the name of the woman working the afternoon of 12/24, she was great! It was my family's first time in and she was so great about recommendations and telling us all about the menu. Especially on Christmas eve when an employee's attitude could have totally been down.
Ordered online and tried Sweetgreens for the first time and I wasn't impressed at all. Barely had any base (rice or greens) and the only item that had flavour in the bowl was sadly the Spicy Broccoli. There are plenty of other salad bowl restaurants in Austin with the exact same price point for more flavour/value.
Whether you're looking to lose weight or just eat better, then look no further than sweetgreen!Sweetgreen is an absolute banger. They're one of my favorite healthy spots to eat at! They have a wide variety of different salads to choose from and honestly can't go wrong with most items here. There's one sauce that I don't like and it's the nuoc cham vinaigrette which I describe as tangy and sour. Other than that, I have high regards to everything else! The one gripe I hear is the price and I justify it because the salads are a great filling portion plus the ingredients are fresh PLUS you can build your own salad so you get to have full autonomy over your own salad if you wish. Sometimes if I have chicken/meat at home already cooked, I'll just get a salad without meat and save a little $ and then add it at home, so that's one thing you could do to save on cost. With that said, I give them a 5/5 for being amazing!Sincerely,@thehungrylonghorn from Instagram
I found a large fingernail trimming in my salad. Unfortunately, I ate about 2/3 of the salad before finding the fingernail. Shouldn’t the employees wear gloves? This is so gross.
First time here and it didn't disappoint! All fresh ingredients. They even advertise where they got all of their ingredients. You can build your bowel or go with a preset one. Also, love that they don't offer sodas which keeps true to their naturally source ingredients. I would come here again!
Fresh and delicious with some surprising flavor combos. I got the Shroomami and loved it. Strong (new) SoCo vibes.
