Extremely disappointing. I had checked the menu online and part of the reason I picked it was because they said they had vegetarian sausage -- I was looking forward to a classic diner breakfast, but vegetarian. Well, they were out. I asked for fruit instead, the waitress suggested grits, and I should have taken her advice since the "fruit cup" was just some sad-looking grapes, one of which tasted moldy. My food came out very fast, but the cheese on the eggs wasn't melted, the hash browns were lukewarm, and they had given me toast instead of biscuits. The plate came with little plastic cups of "butter blend," one of which was already open. I had to ask for jelly. They do put lots of condiments on the table, which I like, but it's because the food is bland. The whole place smells like mildew, and I really wish I had followed my instinct to walk right back out and go to Waffle House. The staff are nice and clearly doing their best in a floundering place.

Food was acceptable when it came out eventually. But the place is severely understaffed — management should do something. It seems like it used to be a good place. The server didn’t come to get our orders or bring water until a bunch of tables asked about 10 min in. Two of our orders got forgotten so we had to wait even more. The food was decent when it came out. Quesadilla was good. We had two orders of pancakes. One was great. One was burnt. The toast was also burnt black.Sanitary standards were also slightly questionable. We asked for milk for the coffee and it came in a container with a ton of black powder, maybe pepper? The bathroom was very smelly with no TP and soap. After people left, tables weren’t cleared. Most of these things are bc there was so little staff - you could tell they were working hard but just too much to do.

All of it is solid. Just had the steak and eggs earlier! Yum!

Great comfort food, excellent grill, breakfast all day

This place scratched so many itches , some hard to cure on a Sunday morning! Beer, psych and garage rock, lots of vegetarian options and lavender flavored coffee- which I had been craving for years, but is so hard to find!! Stacy was awesome and attentive; she makes sure all your needs are met and she's cool as all heck! Thanks for the pleasant experience, y'all made my day so much better! ?

Wonderful people with great food! My daughter and her friends chose this place for their pre prom gathering as an iconic Austin backdrop, the ambiance is very retro and the old fashion dinner style decor was perfect for their pictures. The owner was so kind, friendly and accommodating and the food was just as good. We will definitely go back with our friends and familyThank you.

This place is a great little place to get your grub on. A reasonably good menu and they have a few Vegetarian and even Vegan options, which is great. Just wish they had a fee more Vegan options but this is not a Vegan restaurant. So, I appreciate what they do have.Food is always prepared well and is tasty. I mainly come here, to get a friend of mine the pancakes and grits.Stacy is always there when I go and always greets me with a warm good morning and a smile. Give this woman a raise, she is the backbone of your operations as she is face and voice of your restaurant, greeting everyone with her wonderful personality. If you haven't been here before, give this place a try and tell her that Monk from Guitar Center sent you ??

Highly disappointed. I have eaten at other breakfast diners in town and I don't understand this one's high rating. I was excited to try this place and now I won't bother giving it a second chance like I do with other spots.Details:• Pancake was cold and below average in size. It was decent quality at least.• Two different orders of hashbrowns were both overcooked/burned, and I don't mean crispy. I prefer crispy hashbrowns. These were just badly cooked.• Coffee was average/mediocre instant coffee.• Ordered two breakfast tacos to try different ingredients and:° Black beans weren't drained. It's like they dumped water on my taco, so the tortilla is soggy and ripping.° Bacon is overcooked charred flakes of what was once bacon.• Breakfast sausage has almost zero flavor.• Cheddar cheese looks/tastes like the cheapest shredded stuff you avoid when you're at HEB.• Two different order of eggs, an over easy with the pancake and scrambled with the taco. Both gave the impression of rehydrated powdered eggs. I'm sure they were actual cracked eggs, but the blandness made us question. The green stain on the slice of sourdough, because someone dropped avocado on it in the kitchen and thought it was still acceptable to serve, add a bit of color to this otherwise underwhelming dining experience.Oh, and everything was slightly warm at best when served. How multiple overcooked items come out cold baffles me.PS - The bathroom area smells like what you'd expect at a gas station. However, to their credit they clearly try to keep the bathrooms clean. I'd say this is in line with the staff who also seemed to be working hard and friendly. These bathrooms are right at the front door, so I understand why many reviews mention the foul odor upon entering the restaurant.PPS - Adding flavor to the ambience is the swimming pool of the seedy motel next door that is an arm's length away from your table.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and amazing mimosas! Hidden gem for sure!!

Cute little place. Nice environment. Outer space vibe. Waitress was GREAT, attentive, and friendly. Food was okay, nothing crazy about it. Support our locals though ✌.
