Excellent hotel and especially the staff. John Snow at the front desk was one of the most professional hotel employees we have ever dealt with. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. He was a main reason our stay was so enjoyable. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. A great experience!
A great stay in a great hotel. The rooms are minimalistic, and can feel a little dark, make sure to leave a light on if you intend to return to your room after dark. The pool is great, plenty of shade to keep comfortable, and a very good bar. In the room there is a clear window view of the shower from inside the room. A sexy little addition, but make sure you stay with someone you feel comfortable showering in front of, or seeing in the shower. I would absolutely choose to stay here again.
Love everything about my stay at South congress. Such a charming hotel in an amazing are filled with cool shops and restaurants. The hotel was so clean- and I think I experienced my best sleep in YEARS! Will always stay at SC anytime I visit Austin from this point forward!
Great staff, great rooms, great food, great location and great everything else! Tons of shots and eateries all within walking distance. The front desk staff was very professional and the the pool bar guys were great!!!
With all of the issues surrounding labor constraints within the industry, perhaps more attention should be given to the spaces most occupied (pool area in particular) that this could be a more focal point for management to work on. Also in the year 2022, soft water process should be a thing in the past and not needed. Please change your shower heads and eliminate the window in the shower and keeping it more private.
My ada room was not accessible. Called to the lobby for a shower chair and they didn’t have one so I had to sit on a wire grid chair. The shower head was so high I couldn’t reach it, the doors are incredibly heavy and jammed shut. The phone for the hotel was not reachable. So disappointing and frustrating. I also got double charged for parking And the window in the room is so high you feel like in a box
The hotel is stylish and clean with friendly staff. The rooms are nicely apportioned with a well stocked minibar and very comfortable beds. The pool is a haven in the warmer months of the year. A great place to disconnect.
Super cool hotel in great location on South Congress. Close to shops, restaurants, etc. Rooms were spacious and had great amenities. Bed was really comfortable. Definitely would stay again while visiting.
I love this hotel. I've stayed here many times because it's in the perfect location to get a good "feel" for Austin with cute shops and great food within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is outstanding. Highly recommend!
SO GOOD EVERYTHING. If you are coming to Austin, this is the place to stay. Such a good area to stay and wander around. Rooms were big, clean and had a private bathroom! Don't sleep on this place, sleep in it. Bradley was our bartender, and was truly wonderful. He makes the best egg drinks.
