I really wanted to like this place since it's so close to my house. To be honest, i walked in and was greeted by a cold bartender who told me i wasn't allowed to eat my subway since they had a food truck present. Ok, fine. 5 minutes goes by, and someone walks in with Taco Cabana who is told nothing. Then, as i was trying to pay and leave, i was charged full price despite a very clearly stated "happy hour: $1 off draft beers 12pm-7pm M-F" sign. Maybe I did something wrong, but I really don't see how...
Feels like an old Austin bar. Strong and inexpensive drinks. Only complaint is the the lack of food diversity. Overall this is a great spot though. Fun bars near by too.
You gotta visit! The most fun and delicious place I've been in a while. The brisket is fall-apart amazing. Lots of games, conversation, and friendly people. Come for the food, stay for the fun. You will love it!
This place blew my mind with all the beers, entertainment, outdoor seating, and food options! What a cool place. Plenty to do and drink and hang out with friends. They have auxillary bars out back next to the food trucks. Definitely want to go back! Oh, very clever with the men's urinal--that made me laugh
Hidden gem in South Austin is worth the trip from my place in north Austin! Crazy beer selection, TV screens all over, and amazing BBQ - all in one spot!!
In my Canadian "woke" days I would have been outraged that the food was served on Styrofoam containers. LOL.We really loved going to this place. The have a large deck and outdoor seating, we visited on a very cold day so we had to sit inside, which is also a very nice cozy dining area and bar.The tap and drinks selection is huge and the bartender and server were super nice, helpful and friendly.We had the Jalapeno Mac n' Cheese and the Ribs with side of coleslaw and cucumber salad.Everything was very tasty and the portions large.I would definitely recommend to visit in the summertime.Pet and kids friendly there is Golden Tee live machine too among other games.
This place is amazing!!! I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a drink. Also they do have food here. I can't lie I didn't eat there so I'm not 100% on what they have.
