Great place to eat Korean. Ordering is at the counter, prices are reasonable because the portions are ample. I enjoyed Japchae, Bibimbap, Soondoobo Jjige with tofu and Boiled Dumplings. All was delicious!
We love this place. The jjige ramen was amazing. I had it mild and it had a slight kick which was perfect for me. I also enjoyed the vegetable mandu and I plan to have the mackerel next. Japchae is top notch with a nice sized portion to boot!
We usually get the hot stone bibimbap. It comes with miso soup which is decent. The bibimbap is filling and delicious. The tofu and veggies tasted fresh. My fav part is the crispy rice at the bottom of the stone. It easily feeds 2 people and we got it with extra spicy sauce. It also comes with few side dishes but I wish the quantity was more.
One of the best Korean food we ever had, everything cook to perfection. Definitely the place and food where you want to come back and try different dishes.
A little pricey, but the food is good.Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite. I’ve had the Bibimbap Hot Stone Bowl a few times. Sometime the hot stone isn’t heated enough to make crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl. It’s a shame since the crispy rice is a major point of this dish!
The place itself has a nice vibe and the soup was very good! It’s located in the Hmart and honestly that’s a plus for me. It’s not BCD but it’s prolly the best you will find in Austin. Had the 찌개 and don’t regret it!
Food is not as advertised. I just paid $20 for beef Bulgari and got a plate full of veggies and very little beef. Almost like they were scraping the bottom of the pan. I will not be going here again.
Let me start with the compliments, the vegetables and everything was super fresh. They give you a big bowl for the bibambap and have a good variety of things in it. My problem is that with the beef bibimbap there is literally almost no bulgogi. Like actually i probably ate the amount of meat in two or three bites. For 15 dollars, I expected there to be substantial amounts of meat in the dish. I know its a vegetable AND meat dish but the bulgogi looked so tiny surrounded by all the veggies. Actually not even close to enough, double would have been fine but with the amount of beef I got it can't be rated any higher. The vegetables themselves are no more than 5 dollars in value. At least the veggies are filling so I'm not hungry but I'll have to drink a protein shake or somthing in order to make up for the deficit. 2/5 not exaggerating especially for a 15 dollar meal.
The tastless dumplings were so hot (temperature wise) that they burned the top of my mouth and tongue and ruined the rest of my meal/day. It's now morning and I'm quite upset about it. Don't get their chicken either, it was quite disappointing.I've had their tofu once though and was pretty good. But my mouth hurts :((((((((
Food is always amazing. Today I had an issue with chowbus and my order, the owner quickly jumped into action and got me taken care of like the loyal customer I am. ??♀️Most places wouldn’t have done that and I would’ve had to take a loss. But she didn’t let me down and because of that I will continue to be loyal and eat here WEEKLY and recommend to other.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
