A solid Chinese restaurant that offers authentic and more Americanized dishes for good value. Unlike many of the newfangled Chinese places that charge you an arm and a leg, this place looks and feels like it’s been around for decades. The pricing is more in line with what I would normally expect for Chinese takeout, and this is a good thing. I got takeout from here almost twice a week!

All but one thing we ordered was bad. Not authentic. We ordered eggplants with garlic, chicken fried rice, mapo tofu, and beef lo mein. Only the rice I’d actually go back for.

Food was ok. Service was amicable. Was delivered the wrong food (curry chicken) to our table when we ordered moo goo Gai pan. Our server told us that the kitchen was backed up and said we should try the curry chicken out anyways. We confirmed if the moo goo Gai pan will be coming out and he says yes. We ate our other food. We flagged him down to see if our other plate will be coming out. He said no and we were angry that he took back his word and told us to try out a dish that we didn't originally ordered and charged us for it anyways. Why bring out something we didn't order, told us to eat it anyways and charge us for it??

Insensitivity people. I had ordered mapo tofu (vegetarian no meat). I called the restaurant to make sure that the order they received was correct. The lady who picked up just kept saying mapo tofu is with meat only and hung up. This happened 5 times. My confusion was as mapo tofu is listed in the vegetarian section. And also, who hangs up on their customer?!!

I placed my order through Uber eats and I called them WITHIN 2 MINUTES of placing my order to make sure it was correct. The woman who answered said “we already made it” laughed and hung up. Abysmal service.

Tried delivery from here as some friends recommended it. Ordered Lemon Chicken, Wonton Soup, Steamed Dumplings, and a Thai Boba tea on their website. The wonton soup was cold - not even lukewarm but actually cool - and it had no flavor. The bubble tea had no bubbles. When I called to let them know they said they hadn’t had boba in a long time. Why have it on the menu and sell it as bubble tea and serve it with a wide straw then? After I let her know about the soup as well the lady laughed and said sorry and hung up on me. The Lemon sauce was also very bland and the dumplings were not good but fine if compared to everything else. It’s not like I was looking for amazing quality, and I’m used to having mediocre Chinese delivery, but this is the worst Chinese food I’ve had in south Austin. That’s saying something.

The lady was very nice and helpful and food was so so good! We ordered fried dumplings, mapo tofu, twice cooked pork belly, and Singapore noodles. The tofu had a wonderful rich meat gravy and a lot of sichuan pepper flavor! Comparing our experience to other reviews it seems you are far better off being a bit more adventurous and not ordering the Americanized dishes.

The restaurant is not quite old. The food is terrific. The staff was very nice and extremely honest. If not for the staff, I would give this restaurant 4 stars.

Awesome food, especially if you are adventurous and order something other than the Americanized Chinese food.

Amazing food. Super authentic Sichuan flavors and extremely fast service in person. We got sliced beef in chili sauce, dry fried green beans, Sichuan chicken and sautéed pea shoots with garlic.I’ve been craving authentic Sichuan food for so long and this place hit the spot! Especially the 夫妻肺片 (sliced beef in chili oil)
