It was great to hang out with friends in the outdoor patio area. Good food, good service, will visit again

Amazing and the service was awesome

We’ve been to Shore a number of times and generally like it. Our most recent visit was a bit disappointing. The restaurant is lively, which is a good thing. It has energy. But this time, the jazz group playing was so loud that we could not carry on a conversation among the four of us, nor could we hear what the server was saying when describing special offerings and taking our order. I even told the server we’d buy the band a drink if they’d take a break! Service was reasonably good but just after appetizers were served the server announced that our entrees were ready and asked if we were ready for them! Also, for some reason the beverage service at Shore is notoriously slow and this time was no exception. We will likely return but will most definitely ask for a table (inside or outside) opposite of where the music is playing!

The food was sooo good and the drinks were possibly even better!

We live not too far from Shore Bar But tried first time. We are seafood lovers! everything we tried was an excellent. Service was good. Rehana was our server she was very good. Happy to know we have a great seafood in our neighborhood. Oyster and mussels shrimps were so delicious. Definitely go back.

This place is fantastic. After going to have dinner for the 3rd time I decided that it was time to leave a review. This place does not disappoint if your looking for a different type of vibe, location, taste and feel while living in Austin. My wife and I went to a new year jazz night after not wanting to go out to bars or large social spaces. The food and music here is fantastic . I personally love the sea food oysters. The staff, owners and management are supper nice. Had a chance to meet the owner and I believe this place is set a part from the rest. If you like a good rendition of seafood and Cajun food, highly recommend trying this place out. They do a great job incorporating a mix of options that’s not extremely overwhelming. Try this place out if you’re in Austin. Great wines, amazing oysters in addition to cocktails. It’s a very creative and innovative venue that appreciates music and good food as art.

Just ok…great ambiance, service and drinks. But the food fell really flat for us. Blue crab fingers didn’t have much flavor and the halibut was very over cooked. For $52, I expected it to be pretty perfect. My daughter loved the fish sticks. Feel like this place could be really great, but for the prices, the food needs to be a bit better.

Went here for the first time tonight and have to say we were pretty disappointed. The service was amazing can’t really say anything bad about that but when it came to the food it was overly overpriced and not the best quality. We had the whole grilled fish and shore seafood soup and it was mediocre at best. The mussels in my soup were so fishy that I barely had ten pieces and ended up sharing the fish my fiancé had which was bland and tasteless ( dipped it in my soup for flavor) Really nothing special about the food for me to rave about. We had a dozen oysters that were the highlight of the meal but you really can’t mess up oysters. It was just the two of us and the bill came out to be $400!!! Which is insane to me because we really didn’t love our entrees and kinda walked out disappointed. Would I go back here? No because for that price I would want 4 star service and food, and the food was definitely not that! Being in Austin there’s lots of fantastic places I would go for that price. It was a dive bar with a nice decor at its best.

I went to Shore last night with a group of 10 ladies for a birthday party. We sat on their beautiful patio and had the most wonderful time. Our wait person was amazing and attentive, the food was delicious, and the drinks were perfect! Shore has live music on the patio, the band was excellent and really added to the ambience! I can not wait to go back! This is my new favorite restaurant and I highly recommend!! ❤️

Shore is a nice place but it could be much better. First off, I’d say the food is very very good. And the service is not excellent but a cut above. My three stars are due to a) the prices. These are downtown prices where one expects to spend $100+ per person and b) my major issue is with the music. I like music at dinner but it should be in the background and not the foreground. Especially in an upscale place like Shore. Just not acceptable to have to compete with the music when you are trying to have a conversation. I should NOT have to raise my voice when I’m at a place like this. It was too loud and should be reduced by half.
