Pretty good taste! Got the strawberry fields and was was pretty tasty! Got to use my beloved bucks too so that was great!
Shake Smart is a nice little on-campus location for healthy drinks -- which definitely makes sense when you realize it's right near exercise locations on the UT campus.A few friends and I ended up finding Shake Smart and taking a Lyft to it because we were looking for some good milkshakes & smoothies and Shake Smart is reviewed so well! Well... I'll say the drinks at Shake Smart are generally good, but you need to be calibrated for what they are -- their shelves are stocked with protein since most of the drinks are protein compatible. That in and of itself is fine, but even the shakes without protein aren't really normal shakes, so much as protein shakes with the protein removed (aka you still get that slightly odd aftertaste even without the protein).Overall the staff is nice and it's quick to get a shake or smoothie here -- just make sure you come in with the expectation that you want a protein-based beverage.
Just got a Vanilla thrilla there today around 2pm. Told the staff repeatedly about my sons severe dairy and egg allergy. They assured me the product was dairy and egg free. We bought the drink and after 2-3 sips my son grew very sick and we had to administer allergy meds immediately. Fortunately he has not thrown up but has all other symptoms. Likely this could have been from a poorly cleaned mixing cup and cross contamination occurred. If you have allergies this is a terrible place to go

Super convenient location and they will customize any order. I normally get a half sweetened shaken coffee and no complaints. I haven't ever had the chunky ice experience that others have mentioned and I order here a lot, so it's possible that was a new employee or a bad day!

Convenient location and mostly reasonable prices. I've had their shakes a handful of times - can confirm no ice.Please do change the straws though - they keep breaking/tearing in the middle
