Not a good dining experience
La mejor comida mexicana que he probado en Texas excelente elección de platillos simplemente delicioso 100% recomendado…muchas gracias se nota que cocina con amor hasta quiero secuestrar al cocinero
I had a delicious lunch at Sazon during a stay in the S. Lamar area. Service was prompt and cheerful; food came out promptly, in order, not rushed, and hot. I had a good house margarita; delicate but delicious caldo (xochitl) and rich, full-flavored chicken breast in mole. Servings were generous with a big bowl of chips, and the price was very reasonable. I would come again!

This is the kind of place locals love and return to again and again. Delicious food, low key and comfortable atmosphere, nice staff. The margaritas and Mexican martinis are great too. A good place for families. If you want a shiny new trendy place this is not for you.
The best interior Mexican food in Austin. Walking into the restaurant you feel like you’re walking into an authentic restaurant in the heart of Mexico. Everything tastes like it’s made with love. Great large patio with high powered fans so actually comfortable eating outside.
I worked there for a few weeks and it was a fair place to work with friendly folks , could use some Better equipment instead of using brute force to get things done though .
Unbelievably dishonest. Sazon will automatically add 20% gratuity to parties of 5 of more, but they will not let you know! So when you add a tip of ~20%, they receive a 40% tip. They also had the audacity to turn off the patio lights and misters before our family meal was even over. I do not recommend this restaurant, especially when there are so many good, local, authentic and honest restaurants in this town.
The whole experience was average. I don't really have anything to say bad about it, but nothing was really amazing. Our server was nice and attentive. The atmosphere could be improved. The food was okay.
Simple, open 7x day’s a week, great place to recycle.
