Great place to catch a show! One of our favorite Austin show venues. Rustic pub atmosphere. We like that we can buy a couple of seats at a table, without having to buy all seats at the table, like in some venues. Parking is really tight, highly recommend walking or ride sharing. The service was fast and friendly. The shows tend toward singer/songwriters.
First Time here at Saxon Pub! The Host was so welcoming! Celebrating Dave Madden with his bday month! The energy with the band and the uniqueness of his songs! Super Dope! Extra plus there was a Wrigley Hot Dog Food Truck next to Saxon. I asked where do the hot dogs come from in Chicago? Vienna Beef Baby! Check this place out! Great vibes!

Intimate music venue, great bartenders and waitstaff. We came to see the PAACK and Cari Hutson & Good Company…incredible performances. Grateful for places like this that support these phenomenal artists. The beer is cold and LOCAL!
Saxon Pub is the quintessential South Austin venue for the absolute best live music! Iconic! The waitstaff is super attentive & sweet!It's a small venue so you there isn't a bad seat in the house! There are framed photos of all the greatest bands & musicians throughout the years. It feels kinda like a museum on the walls. Sometimes you have to buy tickets in advance, so double check!
Best listening room in town! Sound is always great, and the staff are friendly and attentive. And, of course, they feature some of the best music in town.
Intimate seating area with standing by the bar and outdoor seating to take a break. Well earned reputation for sound man Richard. Excellent bands through the night every night.
We had such a good night here listening to live music. Intimate venue with friendly staff serving tables. Just a heads-up, take the actual card as the payment terminals don't accept cards on phones yet. They're being upgraded though ???
