This was our second experience at The Salty Sow. We chose it for our Anniversary dinner this time and it was excellent! I canât eat gluten (celiac) and our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I could safely eat. This made our experience even better. From the drinks, to the food, to the dessert and coffee, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

The food is outstanding!
It is noisy but the food is very good. Start with Happy Hour to save a little money. Their drinks were more reasonable than their wine. Too pricy. Good parking which is hard in Austin!

Food is solid but skip the bananas foster beignets desert. Very few tiny banana pieces in 3 large deep fried oily beignets that kind of had weird taste like they may have used the oil for non-desserts too. Most of all, a few tiny small piece of banana, so not sure how they can call it that. The ice cream it came with was good, tho.

Whatâs not to love about an ice cold Blanche with an order of Duck Fat Fries while waiting for your Blackened Redfish? Of course, the husband enjoyed his Burger as well. Love coming to Austin to see a show and have an excuse to dine here.
