I heard good things about Rosita’s so I decided to try it for myself Saturday afternoon. There was a line building up but I was able to order and take my food to go within a half hour. I tried the Carnitas & Al Pastor. Both were really good but the Pastor was amazing. I was also impressed that the flour tortillas were handmade. This is definitely the taco spot in Austin!
Al pastor tacos were mediocre at best. The tripas was barely edible and couldn't even finish it. Marg flavor wasn't mixed at all... On top of all that the food took over half an hour to come out
Absolutely fantastic! I read an article by Bon Appetite saying they tasted 26 different breakfast tacos in Austin, and this place has the best classic breakfast tacos and had to try it. It definitely lived up to the hype.
Yuuuummm! Super yummy al pastor tacos. We took advantage of their Monday special which is 4 tacos al pastor for 6 dollars. Definitely a steal. Their horchata was also delicious.
Good Pastor. Not great. Good. That said, if you slather on the red sauce that the tacos come with, it actually makes it quite good. Not "great pastor" good, but good for tacos. Note - the tacos are small (not "smaller than expected". Just regular small tacos.)
Good meat.Birria taco is served without consommé.Tortillas are freshly made, but are too thick and crackery for my paste. I like my fresh flour tortillas with more lard to make them pliable. Corn tortillaHorchata was on point.
Very good tacos, everything was delicious!!!
Awesome tacos. All tacos are awesome. They have a brick and mortar. The meat was a little over cooked cause they are beginning but turn down the warmer and you will be just fine. One of the best tacos in Austin.
The restaurant is tiny. There's no service anymore. You walk up to order. The nachos were a joke. Mostly dry chips on the plate. Still have good pastor tacos. There's a drive through now.
Hands down THE best tacos I’ve ever had, as a matter of fact we’re going back this morning for the breakfast tacos. ?
