Unbelievable curry, it's got an authentic homemade flavor I can't get enough of. And the mango rice pudding! I dream about it, honestly. It's sweet and heavy and bright and absolutely decadent. That mango rice pudding is a meal in itself, it's served warm and is best shared with a special someone.
We had the classic and bacon jam burgers. They were excellent, as were the fries, which are a unique take on fries. The staff was very gracious handling an online ordering snafu we experienced. Definitely coming back!
I usually shy away from Thai because I dont know what to get, but the staff was so helpful.The Chicken Coconut Lemongrass based soup was absolute bliss. With a silky texture layered with coconut flavor and tasty hint of acidity.They have a very tasty Thai Tea sweet and delicious. Great flavor great staff.
WOW! What a delightful surprise! Everything I’ve tried so far has been absolutely delectable. Seriously great authentic Thai food! Everything is fresh and healthy tasting, completely unheard of in a convenience store. I love the poke bowl, the potstickers, the green and red curry, and the seafood gumbo. Tonight, I tried a dessert for the first time and it BLEW MY MIND. Chocolate hazelnut crunch cake. The textures, the flavors, the crunch. Yummmmm…..You MUST try Rose’s Kitchen for yourself to understand. Also, bonus points because they are eco-conscious and use reusable/recyclable containers and NOT styrofoam. Yes!!!! What a hidden gem! Everything is always fresh and delicious. Where else can you order great Thai food with a bowl of chile mac and cheese?
Best Thai food I have found in Austin! Green and red curries are the best I’ve ever had, good flavor but not overwhelming , can’t wait to try it all! Even had a great bowl of French Onion soup on a freezing day, I’ll be back.
So cool to have this place within walking distance of my house. I love the Thai cooking, like the Tom Kha and green curry, but they also make super delicious fish tacos and yummy sandwiches! Extra bonus that the place is run by neighbors. Love supporting local families!
Best Thai kitchen I've found in south Austin! I've been about 4 times. I love the pad Thai and the Thai fried rice. Today I got a burger with a fried egg to-go and it was on point.
One of the most flavorful, delicious red curries I've ever had in my life. Make sure to try the crispy rolls also -- made about as perfectly as you could ask for.
