I've visited this place 2x in the last month. It is so good and the location is perfect. I ordered a chiken bacon ranch (vegan, obviously). It was phenomenal! Compliments to the chef. Highly recommended. Perhaps I'll venture out and try a new dish soon....

Best vegan sandwiches and grilled cheeses I've ever had. Dining area is a bit limited but food is great and service is awesome too.Great vegan "cheese" options to take home. Too bad the grilled cheese "cheese" isn't available for purchase.Parking was free with validation from the restaurant.

You guys this place is so effing good. Ive been here multiple times with my mom. The cheese board is a lot of fun but the sandwiches are the best. The Gentle Reuben and French Dip are winners. More recently I tried the Turkey Bacon Club and that was SO GOOD! I think its my favorite. We also had the greater grinder but it didn’t send my taste buds flying like the others.

Every non-vegan should visit Rebel Cheese.... Just to show vegans don't just eat lentils, lettuce and tofu! (although there's nothing wrong with that either of course)bRebel Cheese shows vegan food can be wholesome, delicious, filling, nutritious and beautifully looking. The sandwiches are awesome, we had a Frenchie and a Caprese, I couldn't leave the sticky bun either. Service is ALWAYS friendly and with a smile! Grab some Funky mellow spread, Madhu chocolate and stroopclub stroopwafels while you're at it.... ???

Food 3.5/5Ambiance 4.5/5Order is as shown in pictures. I’ll highly recommend Caprese sandwich rather than French dip. French dip has too strong radish taste. Overall a good visit for vegan food

Awesome atmosphere and solid vegan grub! I don’t know why anyone gets their food to go because slowing down and hanging out in their outdoor space is A+. Watch out for the turkey bacon club though - it’s so big! Scooby-caliber big. Tasty, but just know what you’re getting into and consider bringing a friend.

Great charcuterie board and wine. Haven’t had great experience with vegan cheeses, this placed changed my mind. Atmosphere and service a thumbs up. Will be even better when they finish building across the street and the construction noise is gone.

Came in on a slower Tuesday afternoon after flying in from out of state. It was a great introduction to the Austin Plant Based scene. I enjoyed the BLT although I found the fig jam a bit rich for my taste, but it was good, very fresh and flavorful. Portions were great and it was a good value. The service was prompt and polite and the store was mostly clean, although there was a little bit of untidiness here and there. Parking wouldn’t be difficult and it’s easily accessible. I am excited to try the charcuterie platter I got to go for snacking later!

Pros: Great brunch and lunch options and a large assortment of cheeses to-go for your trays at home. The cheeses are delicious and there are lots of wines and other pairings or desserts to try. I got the "lox" bagel and was pleasantly surprised. I've made a char board before with their cheeses and it was a hit! I met one of the owners one day and he was super patient with my cheese order and nice.Cons: We did order a sandwich which listed a GF option and requested it be GF. After waiting for over 20 minutes for the sandwich, we asked to confirm it did come out GF bread and they said no and had to take it back and remake it. Unfortunately, my expectations for vegan and plant based restaurants are higher when it comes to diet requests so I was very disappointed they didn't pay closer attention - but I'm glad we asked. The server didn't seem as concerned that they got the order wrong and seemed a bit annoyed...but my friend can't power through gluten...So delicious food - but if you're GF do your due diligence to double check before you bite in.

The food at Rebel Cheese is truly delicious. I had the Sir Loxalot and the clam chowder. As a lifelong vegetarian/recent vegan, it was awesome to be able to try these famous dishes. It is worth the hype.I really suggest going when the restaurant is less crowded/busy. I went on a weekend, and it was bustling. Also, be sure to sample the cheeses when you are there. Everything is vegan there.
