Best enchiladas in town. Monday through Thursday the enchilada plates are on sale for $8.00
Breakfast tacos are the BEST I had have since moved to Texas!!!
Wife wanted to go food. It was great and I even had to sneak a bite of her quesadilla (which is on the crunchier side not mushy/greasy).Also they had some small marg's for $4 to go which were much better than the last 2 other Mexican restaurants I have had.I believe they have all day breakfast but could be wrong. Will be back for sure!Edit: Went back on a Saturday after working in the yard all day with my wife and let me tell you: the food and drinks were delicious! My toddler even ate the bacon and egg taco (picky eater). After trying a bite of her taco I believe I have found our new breakfast taco spot for when we are on the go. I know other places serve beer but their $6 (large) HH Dos XX was ice cold and the mug was cold also. Haven't had a beer that cold out at a spot in a long time and it went down perfectly. Also our server was very nice and attentive.
Eating here is like going to your abeula's house and having her feed you. The food is always fresh, made with love and the staff is personable and friendly. Over the years the quality of other popular Mexican food places has gone down dramatically, but Ramos remains excellent.
Terrible. Chicken fajita meat tasted like chicken teriyaki. What in the absolute....?****!!!!UPDATE!!!!****Here is Ramos' response..Response from the owner 2 hours agoThanks for giving us a shot, Nic. You should always expect delicious Tex-Mex fare when dining with us, so we're disappointed to hear you didn't love the marinade our fajita chicken is made with. The teriyaki sauce trick is actually a common one many Tex-Mex restaurants use, so we're surprised this is new to you. We hope you'll consider offering us another chance to impress you, perhaps with our amazing Tex-Mex breakfast fare instead. -Fidel & Aida Garcia, OwnersI've lived in Texas my whole life, 42 years. 30 in Austin. I have never bit into a chicken fajita and tasted teriyaki. I've never heard of this trick nor has any of my family or friends. How in the f does teriyaki translate to a tex mex taste?? I almost vomited. No, Mr and Mrs. Garcia, I will not be giving you another chance nor trying your "Amazing Tex-Mex Breakfast."It wouldn't surprise me if yall put curry in your tex-mex.Sick out!
Great low key Mexican restaurant. Can always get a table but food and service are super consistent. Breakfast is also really good.
So it was a little packed but not so packed that my waiter couldn't hear me...so he came back with my drink full of ice when I asked for little to NO ice. When food arrit was Luke warm and green salsa never arrived.
Come here every Sunday morning for breakfast. Great food, fast & friendly service. Everyone is so nice!
