The bbq was very good and they had an interesting beer selection. There was a huge back patio with plenty of room for the kids to run and play.

Updated 28 June 2022 - P&C reviewed the receipt and made adjustments after realizing there had been an over charge. Wishing P&C the best as it has so much potential. - End of updateHave been a few times hosting work happy hours. Had been pretty solid but something has changed. Had 2 pours of Whistle Pig 12 year. Went to pay check and total for those two drinks was $136.00. Asked bartender to double check the price as a bottle is $130.00. He said if that is what it rang up as it must be right. Disappointed and stunned, paid the bill and left. It was also 86 degrees inside due to faulty AC. I’ve enjoyed some times here however will no longer support this business.

Google says open until 1am...Kitchen closes at 9pm... (understand but doesn't say this when I checked ahead of time)Place closes 11pm...(also not online)Just hungry at 8:55pm and politely turned away. (Kinda get it, just aggravated I went through the trouble to check first only to be disappointed)We'll try again another time, looks like a cool place

A Sunday night and not crowded. My dinner partner had a burger and I had a pulled pork sandwich. We ate outside and it’s a neat open environment. The inside is very dark. There was live music and he was good. My pulled pork was very dry and stringy. My potato salad had an almost whole potato in it but tasted ok.My companion is not one to complain but said the burger was fine. Maybe it was an off night.

Could have been better. Had the fried mushrooms, then the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, greens and added a side of Mac and cheese to share with my wife.Only us and one other couple in the restaurant. The bartender/ server did pretty good. The sides were delicious, but Luke warm to cold on the outside and warm in the center..I would guess they were heated in the microwave. The chicken fried steak was well ordinary probably frozen at some point. Very chewy. The margarita was amazing, small but good for $10..One appetizer, one entree, a margarita and a sweet tea $50.. don't mind paying that, but please serve hot food and quality meat. Might try again one guest at the bar said his burger was amazing..

Amazing steak, awesome sides, great cocktails! The brisket couldn't be cooked any better than it was. Totally amazing. The fried pickles were a great side as well. This place was a great find and loved by locals. I highly recommend and I hope to go back soon!

Not sure if they are short handed or what the issue is, but the service was not good and the food was mediocre. We made reservations for a birthday celebration and they stuck us in the backroom where the games are. We had to try and visit over dinner with kids playing air hockey and screaming. Not at all a great dinner atmosphere. I don't think we will go back.

We decided to come here instead of some of the other places around. Big mistake, even made a reservation for a party of 15 two days prior. However after being seated the waitress informed us they were pretty much out of everything. No coke/ Dr. Pepper or sweet tea. No brisket/pulled pork/turkey. No draft beer, only canned/bottled beer(that you would think had been iced down) but nope just hot beer. Our food came out cold and burnt and in shifts, non of our party ate at the same time. The waitress thoroughly apologized and we know this is not her fault. I know things are still difficult due to shortages but no manager ever came by to apologize, or maybe to even check on us. I am in the customer service industry as well and a little bit goes a long way is all I have to say.

Decided to take a chance on this place after gf and I passed by going back into town. Service was good but the food fell short. Her Cubam sandwich had no flavor or pickles. There was cold dry pulled pork on top the flavorless ham. No flavor.I got the Nashville quarter chicken. Chicken was sitting in a pool of grease and the flavor tasted off. KFC's Nashville chicken is much better. Pretty much everything we had there including fried mushrooms, was missing something in the way of flavor. Meh will not be back.

The food and service was great! We enjoyed celebrating our son's birthday at Proof & Cooper!
