We have a group of folks that meet monthly at the Pour House for conversation and refreshments. The staff have always been very accommodating of our group of 10-15 people. Our waiter Dean makes everyone laugh and feel at home. His hospitality is amazing- he goes above and beyond to take good care of us! And I highly recommend the bruschetta!!
Good food, drinks, staff, and vibes. I don't understand what you're supposed to do if you can't handle dogs, though. Go there with a therapist? Why is everyone expected to respect dogs and their owners while the owners have no respect if someone cannot handle dogs for their own private reasons?Sorry, but I think dogs do not belong in dining establishments or supermarkets. Austin is too dog accommodating. Once the place is more human friendly, I'm happy to give them 5 stars. :)
What do you do when your regular pub goes away? You have to find another one. Pour House is a relaxed atmosphere with a full bar and varied menu. Staff is friendly and attentive. It's been a great new home.
Pour house is great. They have a lovely patio to sit and enjoy a beer and the food is simple but delicious. We had the Hawaiian pizza last time I went and it was delicious.
After passing by numerous time we decided to answer the “pizza call” at the Pour House: apparently, a busy spot on a Friday night. Every table outside was taken, the bar was full as well. We liked our booth in a back of the main dining room, nevertheless. The server dashed to take our orders soon after we opened an online menu. Luckily, we did the homework ahead of time and were ready. We ordered individual, 11-inch pies that came put in a reasonable time. The first slice went down quickly, although it became too salty halfway. The crust had a nice, chewy texture inside and a slight crunch on top. I wish there would be more chicken and less bacon. I could hardly identify artichoke by taste, and some of it was just dried out. I wonder if it added to salt amount overall. Two of us share a glass of a semi-dry and boozy (for me) draft cider, which helped to wash the salt off.
Nice place to sit and chill on the patio with a drink. We had fried mushrooms and shared and 8” pizza. The mushrooms were the perfect bite size & the batter was tasty. We shared the “Supremo” pizza. We really liked it. Crust was crispy and toppings were just right. Not too much sauce and cheese.
My pizza was doughy and cut terribly! It was gross taking a bite of pizza that was chewy and white. Whoever did the togo order did not care at all. Literally a frozen pizza would’ve been better because at least I would've cooked it all the way.Go elsewhere for pizza. Because this place isn’t consistent.
Such a great little place. Really fantastic atmosphere, reasonable price, lovely food and great beer. Really nice find in the local area
1st timbers and loved it! Too cool for the patio but it was beautiful! Dog friendly. Fried mushrooms, fried green beans. Pizza was hot and perfect! Hope to visit again. (From Santa Fe Texas ❤️)
Fantastic pizza selection! They also have salads and sandwiches, and a nice selection of beer and signature cocktails. Our waitress was great!
