This place needs to be shut down, horrible customer service, went through the drive tru and order a 3 piece spicy with dark meat, I tried the leg right there and it was mild, the lady told me that she put spicy and it was not, grabs the box from me and puts another leg inside and it was mild again, by now I am very upset and just leave, I get to work and they forgot my straw, fries that I paid for and got mild chicken. They give you attitude at this place and act like they are giving you free food! Never going back to Popeyes ever again!
Horrible experience!! 2pm 5/27/22 we ordered a 10pc meal / dark/ spicy with an additonal side of bean/rice. We discovered the additional side was not in the bag and we did not get spicy chicken. We had a 30 mile drive to our destination so we could not go back at the time. Later around 8pm I returned to the where person in charge refused to give me the side item, or refund. i had to hold up the drive thru line to get was owed to me. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO STARS
Only 2 cars in the drive thru, including myself. It took at least 10 minutes before I could order. I ordered 1 spicy chicken sandwich and a 3 piece combo with coleslaw as my side, as well as another side of mashed potatoes. Young lady said they were out of coleslaw, which was strange, so I ordered an additional side of mashed potatoes. When I got to the window, I asked another employee if they were really out of coleslaw. He said no, so I ordered a side of coleslaw. When I got home, I received a chicken sandwich comprised of 2 mild chicken tenders with a bun. They also forgot the additional mashed potatoes I paid for. It’s just pure laziness.
Worst customer service. Walked into dining area. Had to wait 15 min for someone to take my order!! Incredible. Asked for manager and even he did not care
Giving this Popeye’s a 1 star is overrated, but it was what I had to give in order to write a review. The customer service is HORRIBLE and even this is too good of a description. I went thru the drive to place an order, when I got guy (I later found out is the manager) asked if he could help me several times, I told him give me a moment. Then when I went to tell him my order he rudely told me, just a minute there is a car at my window. I asked him why did he ask to help me if he wasn’t going to take my order. He again rudely said one minute, I have a car at my window. What confused me was the car was at the window when I pulled up and I saw it along with the other car that was directly in front of me, so I wasn’t sure why he felt like he needed to tell me this. Because I already saw it when I pulled up. I told him never mind I no longer want to order. Unfortunately when I was trying to reverse out of the drive thru a car pulled up behind me and I had to wait the 20 minutes for him to give the 1st and 2nd car their order. So not only are they rude but extremely slow as well. Honestly, they don’t deserve the 1 star I gave being generous. I understand working serving people can be stressful but RUDENESS is never acceptable. If I didn’t have to go to work I would have gotten his name and called corporate.
These guys need to order extra inventory when a popular item in advertised, like the flounder fish sandwich. I have tried two times to order this item and both times they were out. I feel like this location does not have a " sense of urgency " when it comes to advertised items. I wish there was another Popeyes in the southwest part of South Austin.
Feb-7-2022 1:33pm around that time. lunch crew is amazing good Quality chicken perfect i got a classic chicken sandwich and it was fresh fried and crispy super juicy and Cajun fries crispy as well everytime I come around this time for my lunch break from work and see the same staff working i get excited because I know they do things right if they aren't getting payed $15 a hr or more they need raise because slot if times they get lines as long as a Chick-fil-A line and they work super hard and fast while making sure they deliver great service and fresh food.
Really horrible service here. They get orders wrong 90% of the time. They take the order correctly, but give half the food that was paid for. I ordered and was charged for 4 orders of the 2pc special, got 2. Have previously gotten someone else’s order completely. Really frustrating how often it happens.
Was hoping to add Popeyes to my “takeout treat” list. Big positive: the lady at the drive through was super sweet and chatted with me as we waiting for the chicken to be packed. Unfortunately, when I got back I opened the box and found two legs and a thigh for my three piece instead of two thighs and a leg. A bit stingy considering how cheap chicken thighs are. Then I tasted it. Most generous description would be “meh”. Tried the coleslaw, nasty. Tried the biscuit, it was tough. Very disappointed. Will not be going back.
spent about 40 minutes sitting in line to doordash food. wondering why we cant come in to just grab the food and go when the employee’s kids are running around in there with no masks. even the ONE employee putting food in bags didnt bother wearing a mask. she spent 10 minutes putting together two drinks and some chicken in a box. she does each order one at a time.
