Delicious food to do take out only
I love Pollo Campero but slow service. Ordered my food at 5:17pm. Email said my food would be ready at 5:37pm. Showed up to the store at 5:50pm. They said it be a 15 minute wait! Looks like they didn’t even start my order. Don’t even bother with online orders.
Not reliable. I order Grilled chicken meal. Sometimes the chicken is fresh and perfectly cooked but sometimes it’s either not fresh or burnt.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the facilities are well lit and very clean. Haven't but dang does it look good.
Originated in El Salvador and we first tried it in Guatemala where it has a cult like following. We all liked it here in the US, but not quite 5 stars
The fried chicken was different and actually quite good. However everything else about the experience was not very good.
Some of the very best fried chicken you can get anywhere is from Pollo campero. I mean seriously, the chicken has a unique flavor to it that can't be found anywhere else. It wipes the floor with churches and KFC for sure. Popeye's spicy chicken may come close but I got to tell you this Pollo campero chicken is absolutely amazing.

Some of the blandest, most non flavorful undercooked chicken ever. Fries, no flavor. Rice, no flavor. empanadas, no flavor. Everything about this food is just not appetizing. Nothing is authentic. This is a Terrible take on good food. Do not order from here or eat here. Two thumbs down
I ordered a family pack of 20 pieces. When I got home I checked my order and they had only given me 17.
