I'm a big fan of the options here. I like to go for the mixed greens and brown rice base, all the veggies, the spicy scallops, ahi tuna mix, and salmon topped with edamame, sesame seeds, seaweed, and green onions with their house sauce. It's healthy and delicious.
Salmon was ok, but the two tuna options were bomb. The house and sweet sauce were awesome. Rice was well cooked. Salad was fresh.
A little pricey compared to other poke bowls I've had, and some toppings like seaweed Salad is an extra $1.50 charge. They also dont always fill the bowls. It tasted pretty good though!
Always super friendly and very knowledgeable. I really wish they would add unagi to their menu I really think that they would have a lot more clientele. The food is amazing and this is probably one of the only pokeball places I can say that actually has masago constantly on the menu. I love this place!
Servers were very rude, just stood there impassive without a word through my whole order. The only words any server really spoke to me were "we're out of wasabi".Environment was pretty depressing as well. Inside seemed dirty and dark, and the tables outside seem like they had never been cleaned (caked dirt on the whole surface).Food was not very good, especially for the price (~$16 for a bowl). Fish was not very fresh or quality and the bowl as a whole was bland. I would hesitate to pay for this food if it was less than half the price they are charging.
The food is ok but the service is rough. For some reason my online order didn’t go through correctly and the response was just ‘oh no’ instead of trying to fix it or ‘I’m sorry’ or offering some type of discount. I would have just come in and ordered if I knew this process was going to take an extra 20 minutes for no reason. Ultimately just disappointed in their service and professionalism. There’s also not much in the way of toppings and it’s really pricey for that lack of options …better poke places around for sure.
I don't ever like to write bad reviews but I had to for this one. This business and it's manager are so wrong and unprofessional for unsanitary and unsafe service. The establishment is firstly in sever neglect of basic cleaning and is still adorning decor from season past where you a visibly see the layers of dust and grime accumulated over the serving area. There's a filthy fish tank omitting a offensive order. And while the young man serving myself and my companion was very polite and understanding the manager who I spoke with over the phone because they wanted to protest my request for a refund after we found human hairs in our food. We only got a couple bites in before horrificly pulling the hairs out of our bowls. The young man said he didn't know how to refund so he called his boss who had him on the phone for 20 muinets before demanding to speak to me directly. I took the kids phone and the manager immediately starts to apologize saying it has only ever happened a couple times before. But would refund one of The orders. When we told him there were two instances he became angry and refused to accept it. After going back and forth he demanded I put his employee back on the phone. He shouted at his employee and demanded he himself pay for the meal he did yell at him some more and then hung up. At this point the poor young man was visibly upset and I did feel bad for him. But we did not even eat close to half a meal and we're on the verge of being sick standing there in the restaurant.And we still did not receive a refund. But I do believe this establishment needs to be visited and inspected. The food is raw not fresh and filthy.
Check your credit card bill. We have found 3 SEPERATE occasions where they double charged our credit card. NOT a coincidence. When we contacted the restaurant to let them know, they then sent the charges, NOT credits, through twice more, for a total of 5 extra bills for the cost of the meal each time. If you understand statistics, it is impossible that this randomly happened to the same customer 3 times, without it happening to others. They are committing credit card fraud. Be careful. Pay cash, check your statement or just avoid this place all together.
I like the food! It was very tasty and filling.I had spicy tuna and salmon. They were really amazing. I would love to visit again on a day where I want healthy food that fills me.I like the atmosphere.
I was expecting there to be more mix in options. The poke bowl was not bad but not great/super flavorful as well. At the very least you will be full though! If you're someone who likes simple poke bowls this is the place for you.
