Super nice employee. HUGE portion of Beef Chow Fun….but it just tasted like rice noodles and soy sauce. The pan fried pork dumplings were so so. Dumpling sauce lacked flavor, it was just salty and sour (likely just soy sauce & vinegar) needed umami and sweet as well. The Beef Chow fun lacked umami, sour and sweet. The food wasn’t balanced at all. I appreciate the effort but $20 for app and entree it should have tasted a bit better.
I am not vegan or vegetarian, although I do eat this way a few times each week at least. I have a serious shellfish allergy and desperately miss Asian food. The pan fried pork dumplings and siu mai were so delicious and portions are very generous. I drove in from San Marcos and will do it again (and again:) Also, nicest people and great service. Highly recommend.
Let me just start off with the vibe. Totally chill with lots of friendly people. The lady at the window was welcoming even though they were quite busy. Ordered the beef chow fun and the rotating rice dish and well wow they did not disappoint!! The vegan beef was marinated perfectly and the spice level was great. Salty yummy noodley comfort food goodness. Washed it all down with a topo and well now I'm full and excited to try something different next time. Will definitely be back. If your vegan try them out and even if your not vegan it's Soo good.

I went to Plow Bao last week to pick up sweet dim sum boxes for lunar new year and get some lunch with my family.The sweet dim sum was fantastic! I especially loved the mochi set and sesame balls. The no-egg tart was surprisingly good.We also ordered dumplings, Bao tacos and scallion pancakes. The pancakes were HUGE! I got two orders of each which was way too much food but we ended up having it for dinner. Flavor of everything was yum! I would love to see Plow Bao do some veggie dumplings. Also was hoping to order the noodles or rice dishes but they said it was available during weekend brunch.Lastly, thank you for using paper packing! I love being able to get take out with less guilt of trashing plastic or styrofoam ?❤️
Delicious Vegan option for bao. Potstickers were excellent and the scallion pancake roll up was fantastic! Staff was so nice and attentive.
My food was AMAZING!!! We also had the fried Oreos . I would definitely recommend this place . Also the staff was great .
