Popular place with fresh dishes for sure, but in my party of 5, only 1 was happy with their dish. Across the board, things were pretty bland. I got the cinnamon roll french toast and I was pretty underwhelmed, particularly the size. In my photo you can see 3 tiny pieces of French toast for $13. California has arrived in ATX.Service was fantastic tho. Our server David was friendly, helpful and very attentive.

This was a great find! Started the evening off with a Neon Sunset and Picnik Mule. As you can see, they are aesthetically appealing! Very tasty as well. For dinner, we had the Bibimbap and Crispy Fish Tacos which were packed with flavor. My only desire was that the Bibimbap (pronounced by our server BIH-BIM-BAHP) portion size was a tad bit larger. Great service as well. Very friendly!

Nice place, very clean and beautiful! Coffee is different but good. Great waitress. Thanks for all!

My husband and I had a delicious lunch at Picnik. It is so wonderful to have a restaurant with great selections, delicious food and everything on the menu is gluten and refined sugar free!! Syreeta F was a wonderful waitress and everything was delicious!

Visiting this restaurant with my out of town friends and was definitely excited for them to experience the Austin food scene. We chose to sit out on the patio which was decorated with greenery and very beautiful. We had an issue with losing our server. When we asked the another server to take our order, she suddenly appeared. We ordered drinks and food and everything arrived at our table. I needed salt for my food and kept waiting and waiting for her to return and she never did, so I got up from my table, went inside and looked around for someone to hand me the salt. Even then she didn’t return until after our meal was completed (my friend had to go inside and find her). So, to the food- my friend and I ordered the hash which we literally order on every menu because we love I so much. Unfortunately, this meal fell short as the sweet potatoes were undercooked. We did love the Brussels sprout appetizer and the Cherry Limeade cocktail.

Really nice place to have brunch. The food is very well prepared and delicious. All of the ingredients are of great quality. This isn't just a little place to eat. The dishes here are well thought out and paired perfectly together and made with love. It's also a local fare place too so not only are you supporting a local restaurant you're also supporting local farmers. I'd recommend eating here any chance you get.

Fantastic experience! In my family we have a celiac and someone with soy and dairy allergies. Picnik is heaven sent. You can order whatever and you're good to go. We sampled a little of everything and it was all very good. The steak frites were really good. The only thing we wouldn't order again was the Cashew Queso. It just didn't appeal to our tastes, but others may love it.The servers were very attentive and ready to field questions. The place is a little pricey, but very much worth a visit. Especially if you have food allergies.

TLDR: A good brunch "experience", but misses the mark on the actual foodCame here for a Saturday morning brunch. I did have a reservation ahead of time, so I can't attest to what the wait would be if you don't have one. I will say that time slots were rather limited. We started off with some coffees, I had a simple black coffee, but I got to try the coffee with butter and whey. Both of them were frankly sub par. I don't expect the same level of a restaurant as I do a coffee shop, but they still failed to meet that expectation. For the food, I got the "Fried Chicken Breakfast". The eggs were great, as was the chicken. The pancakes were a bit off. They use cassava (I assume to avoid gluten), and it was markedly different than a "normal" pancake. It was a bit tougher, denser, and less sweet than a typical American pancake. I was willing to try it, but I am sticking with my gut reaction that it should have either been an egg & chicken dish, or a chicken & pancakes (I.E. the classic chicken and waffles). both myself and the other person at the table ate one of the items as a side (eggs for me, pancake for them) instead of together as one meal. While I've been harping on the food, they did hit two things out of the park. first off, the overall vibe is immaculate. They really hit the "Instagram brunch" out of the park. great décor, waitstaff uniforms, plating, etc. They also do really well with dietary restrictions from what I've seen, so if that is a challenge you face, I'd be much more likely to recommend this place.overall, They did a great job of doing the small stuff right, without addressing the biggest part of a restaurant, the food. Great vibes, but bad value and mediocre food & service. 3/5.

Fire iced matcha with honey milk

Simply INCREDIBLEJackie served us with the most helpful, upbeat, and delightful attitude ever!! They were extremely accommodating to my severe dairy and soy allergies. I highly recommend coming here if you have a trillion food restrictions like me. The food itself was nothing short of phenomenal. I cook my own meals daily because I almost never can eat out without getting violently sick but these guys made the exception!
