Great food and amazing service!My dumplings were a little colder than expected. But The pho was really good.They offer only two broths for the pho, either beef or vegetarian. I ordered the chicken pho with vegetarian broth along with the steamed pork dumplingsHighly recommended for delicious Vietnamese food and a very friendly staff.
I’ve tried to love this place, I really have. I’ve been twice inside and three times to go and each time has been a nightmare of trying to get an order right. It never is…and let me tell you, my order is simple: spicy pork and beef soup with JUST BEEF. Has it ever been right? No…wrong broth one time, wrong everything else the remaining FOUR TIMES! Yesterday’s walk-in for my order though, is the straw the broke the camels back. Not only was the order wrong again (hi Pork in the bowl) but I had to have the hostess/greeter of the week, literally snatch the menu out of my hand so she could see what was in her bowl of soup. Look, I’m the nicest guy when it comes to service people. This girl snatching menus out of hands-the ONLY menu at the front mind you-and then going to the kitchen THREE TIMES and then ask THREE TIMES if, in fact, I only want beef in my spicy beef and pork soup. I did, and it was wrong. I would’ve gone back to express my displeasure but I know it would not lead to change at this place and I know the little girls with the dreads was somehow gonna give ME attitude-as she had shown after realizing she doesn’t know her own menu-because I, somehow, got the order wrong. This place needs help. One star for proximity (though won’t be eating here again) and one star for the broth being both HOT and correct (for a welcome change).
Why have we been forced to tip in cash? The waitress came to give us the check and said”cash tip is much appreciated” we asked her why and she said cash tip doesn’t need to be tipped out. What a great dinning experience. BTW the food was great tho.Reply to owner’s response: thanks for taking time to respond to my review. Unfortunately we didn’t get our waitress’ name but I can Briefly describe her appearance. She looks in her 30’s, long hair with pony tail, not too sure about her race, more likely she’s Mexican (I’m just guessing, forgive me if I was wrong) we dine in last Friday (5/20) for dinner if this would help you. We don’t want to get this waitress in any kind of trouble but my friends and I love your restaurant, don’t want to see this type of action hurting your business.
Best calamari appetizer I ever had, fresh, juicy and flavorful, crispy on the outside. We shared dishes between friends, we had a real feast it was a real blast. Our waiter was extremely attentive, professional and friendly and packed our to go boxes. Amazing time.

Pho with us is one of my favorite Vietnamese pho places in Austin! I love their pho rare ribeye, brisket and beefball and pork belly bao. You HAVE to try the matcha Thai tea too. Lastly, they always have wonderful service!
This is a good restaurant! But after eating here a few dozen times it’s worth noting that the food is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes the egg rolls are cooked crisp, other times they’re a bit soft. Sometimes meat is over salted, sometimes just right. Etc.On a positive note, it’s never bad*, it just varies between great and pretty good. 4 stars seems generous but 3 stars seems too harsh.The in restaurant experience is better than takeout, where pickup time estimates can be way off, depending on the day. I’ll continue eating here frequently as it’s easily the best option I’ve found for Vietnamese in South Austin.(*the spring rolls are pretty bad. Don’t recommend.)
This is the best pho place is Austin. Great to dine in and take out. Food is AAA++ and atmosphere is classy. My wife and I went to Pho Thaison for years down the street before discovering this place, and we had been sorely missing out on pho with us. You've got lifelong customers and we'll never return to then sad neighbor that has gone down hill.
Best Pho, Bao and Banh Mi in town! Do yourself a favor and eat here.
I would die for their salt and pepper tofu, soo good. They have the richest vegan broth and delicious pho. Everything comes out warm, everything is beautiful garnished. Even the garnish is good and we ended up eating it. Good service great food very much recommended
