Their vermicelli bowl with charcoal chicken and egg roll is bomb!
That was phenomenal. I did takeout and it was ready in 15min from the point of when I ordered it. The flank was raw, to my surprise, and cooked up very nicely with the still hot broth. The fat brisket was delectable and went down easy without much chewing. The broth was a delight to drink plain, too.Definitely coming back here again!
My wife, daughter, and myself ordered takeout from Pho Hoang last week, during Spring break 2022. I showed up to pick up the food when they said it'd be ready but was told, "sorry, we're running behind". I cringed, especially counting 7 other people already waiting for takeout orders. But, it only was about 10 minutes wait and once we dug into our food we were very happy! Great food! To even mention the wait is being picky, really, but that's just part of the report. Recommended.
Plenty of authentic flavor for your taste buds! One of the best Pho restaurants in Austin
Pan fried noodle dish, the noodles were mush, globbed together, thrown messily in a ToGo container. The egg rolls were old looking with a brown piece of lettuce. Just a shame. For $61 dollars, we tossed it out, not even suitablefor a dog. Food was old and not fresh. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
I got pork dumpling, shrimp rolls and #16! Everything was delicious and authentic! The portions was big and definitely your moneys worth! It took them less than 10 minutes for everything to come out steaming hot!
This place was good. The pho was steaming hot, and the egg noodle dish with beef was out of this world. It was a little pricey because the menu said one price and we were charged something different but other than that it’s yummy in my tummy!
I went with a group of 5 and another guest and i had egg noodle dishes. Mine was the house special. But i really don't think what's in the soup that matters. We both agreed the broth is what makes it so delicious. What do they do to make it taste so good? Whatever it is, they need to keep on.Also, i tried fishballs for the first time ever. I have to admit, the name is more than a little off-putting, but they really are yummy and next time I'll get more!
In all honesty, I’ve tried many authentic Vietnamese pho locations all the way to Houston and this one is by far the BEST in the Austin area. The broth is always consistent, tasty and full of spices. The noodles are always cooked to perfection, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting as well. I’ve never had a bad experience here, the charbroiled pork plate/vermicelli bowls are also delicious…The staff is friendly and always know how to run a busy restaurant, because it gets packed on weekends.
2021-NovFriendly staff, delicious Pho. (And PLENTY of other options. They have always been easy about customizing (extra veggies, or no cilantro for a friend)Abundant fresh basil, cilantro and sprouts placed on a plate on your table when your order arrives. which makes everything SO delectable.I’ve brought at different times both friends and family. I feel like I’m sharing a treasure.
