This place has excellent soup. Very light not too greasy. The spring rolls were exceptional as well! Service was a little slow but good food made it worth the wait.
It’s open til midnight. Expect to wait and to receive whatever they have currently going in the kitchen that matches closest to what you’ve ordered, everytime I’ve been here it’s three people working their butts off! So like is it the best no but is it opened til midnight yes. That counts for something in my book.
omgi can't believe i came back herethis is the worst place everexcellent price but you get what you pay formy Google maps said I was here 3 weeks ago so i came backi never left a review last time! stupid me!last time the grilled pork shrimp egg roll vermicelli bowl was so affordable!egg roll was excellentpork and shrimp were cooked 5 days ago and chilled in a refrigerator. then they opened it and put in the nice egg roll and served it to mehorrible
This is the best Pho in Austin. It’s not in the best area but I come here regularly because the pho recipe is unmatched!! And they are open till 12am it’s a great late night place and not gentrified. Vermicilli is also good and get the spring rolls with BBQ PORK and the pho with BBQ pork I recommend. Their milk tea boba is really good. Everything is very authentic Vietnamese quinine can’t compliment them enough?.
Ordered a hu tieu kho thap cam. It is normally served with a quail egg, squid, and crab sticks as well as a different type of bbq pork than what I received. Not quite sure what this is but it is not seafood noodles. More like shrimp and lemongrass pork. Two stars because their banh mi cha lua is ok
Ehh. The thai tea was the best thing we ordered. The white meat chicken pho was okay the bone broth in the pho was good. Tried fried dumplings, right crunch wrong flavor for me, shrimp tasted off or old. Won't be coming back.
This neighborhood has many, really good Vietnamese restaurants to choose from. We specifically chose to try this place because I found a deal on Restaurant.com. I should have realized when they don't have a website to look at their menu that it wasn't a good sign. I found their menu on Doordash though. I noticed that they didn't have what I really wanted on the menu. I suspect that it is because their menu is a little bit of every type of Vietnamese cuisine. They have a little pho (but no tofu pho), a little banh mi, a little bun, etc, but when I can drive half a mile and get great pho, banh me or bun, the menu seemed all over and not special.I went in to order to-go. I was quickly informed that they would not honor my certificate and he said something about that was from when he opened 3 years ago. Please note the date in the photo below. I bought it on the day I went in not 3 years ago. As of this writing, you can still go buy one.I didn't want to be a "Karen" so I didn't argue with him. I know restaurants are under a lot of stress right now. So I placed my families order and stepped aside. As I waited, I began to look around. At least 3 people were working there. Two tables were occupied and 6 had not yet been cleaned from previous diners. Then I looked at the floors and walls. I have to admit that I became uneasy when I saw how dirty everything was. Again, I know the service industry is short-handed so I shrugged it off. When I got home with our food, it was OK. The portions were small and cold but everything tasted OK. I must also note that Pho Dinh was not any less expensive than other places. We paid the same as any other similar place. We won't be going back. There are at least 12 really good, friendlier and cleaner places in a 2 mile radius.
Extremely rude waitress. She told me that the kitchen wasn't making the Uber Eats orders they had received and that they might be ready after midnight, she told me this very dismissively as well as the other 3 delivery drivers that were waiting for her.
Bahn Mi and Thai Tea is my favorite combo to order from this place! ? Ordered multiple times and not once been disappointed. I had tried their other menu items and loved them as well! Glad to have found this place.
I ordered Uber Eats for pick up and my partner waited inside for 15 minutes and the staff didn't acknowledge him waiting. After asking about the order the staff seemed confused. He was then rudely told the other was cancelled. We had to coordinate that with Uber Eats because they did not cancel the order. We weren't even offered to have the meals made for us. We went home with no food. Forget this place! ?
