It was a bit CHAOTIC & SURREAL last night in Austin. I had just pulled up to pick up an online order & found front lobby (was closed)& the parking lot @ P. Terry's was SWARMED with APD. Food was ready, line was long, but I got out of there safely! Come to find out, they had just encountered a SHOOTOUT & a DRIVE-BY right on the FEEDER in front of their location. I was just like what the?? I guess this was all over in various locations, because as I left I kept seeing POLICE everywhere, BARRICADING restaurants (like this 1) & others!
Tried it. Just ok. Realize it is an Austin icon eatery, but didn't impress me. The burgers were ok. The staff was friendly and efficient. The shakes were good. Probably not on my stop at again list, but it is a popular place.
the simplest and most tasty hamburger, it is proven that for a hamburger to be good it does not need to have a thousand ingredients.My only problem would be that they included jalapeños. and includes the French fries made fresh the perfect amount of salt, again nothing fancy or overpriced and the price is very affordable
California burger with shoestring fries and a shake for $8 & it all was better than McDonald's. Only a couple dozen locations, mostly in Austin Texas area, but they all look cool as heck and serve food right!
As they've expanded I feel the quality control has really gone down hill. The fries continue to be amazing for the most part, but the burgers are usually not warm and don't taste very fresh. Also it seems like they've stopped seasoning the patties too. last few visits the burger itself has been lukewarm and bland.Wish they had better standards as this used to be one of my favorites.
Requires mask to enter. But not a mask to sit in eat. I walked in and dozens of people are sitting and chewing with masks down. But simply walking to the front I need a mask? Even in the restroom masks were down. I guess the virus is only transmissible when you ARE NOT chewing or drinking or using the restroom.
This is a great location, it’s right off I-35. Every time I’ve gone here the drive-thru is super quick. 5 stars for their staff, they are always very friendly and professional.
Great place for veggie burgers. There's too many places where the vegetarian options taste like an afterthought but these were excellent and different. Not mushy, great texture, great flavor. And the price is so cheap!!!
My favorite veggie burger in all of Texas lives at P. Terry's. Even better, it's inexpensive and convenient. Overall, I love that P. Terry's makes good quality food available at an affordable price. Everyone deserves to be able to eat good food!
Just spent 30 min in drive thru line. My exact thoughts were, "man at least it will be hot an fresh". Staying at the hotel a block away. Went immediately up to my room. I will be GD if the burger wasnt so cold that the cheese was still a slice, never even melted. How you take so long just to give me some old food man...couldnt even eat this thing. Nastiest burger iv ever had
