I always see long lines to this place and today I finally tried it. I was underwhelmed. The size of the burger was smaller than I thought for those prices. Even though the meat is organic. The fries were not good. My husband's bag were not properly cooked and all were limp and sad. The only reason why this review has 3 stars was the pretty good milkshake. I don't think I'll go back.
Good food and service! My fries and burger were perfect. I much appreciated my Dr. Pepper that tasted like actual soda vs sugar water.
You can never go wrong with a cheeseburger at P. Terry's. So happy their prices have remained reasonable even throughout the pandemic.I've been to many P. Terry's across Austin but had to leave a review on this location because of the friendly staff!! Plus they have an outdoor dinning area that's Covid Times friendly. Will be returning for the service!
Burgers were decent, but I wasn’t wowed by them. I got lemonade which was very sour, but they did let me switch my drink out. If you do go here I would recommend getting it to go. There are so many homeless people around it is hard to enjoy your food without being badgered for money or food.
Always good food. Very polite staff. Been to a few other P. Terry’s Burger Stands but, this one beats them all. Check this place out if you haven’t already.
A great pitstop if you’re ever around downtown austin and want a quick and cheap bite to eat. It’s in walking distance of zilker park and the small seating area outside is a nice vibe to dine in. The food is great, the staff is greater, and the prices are some of the greatest in the austin area.
Always a pleasure hitting up the P Terry's because we love their outdoor seating surrounded by greenery & lights overhead. Never disappoints. Tried the chicken sandwich for the first time & it was good, but I still prefer the regular burger over it.
KETCHUP QUEEN!!!Don’t expect to get ketchup from the Manager at this location. She gave me 3 packets of ketchup for an order of 2 burgers and 2 fries.Ask for more ketchup? Don’t even bother. You will receive rolled eyes.Ask then for maybe a plastic bag to better hold everything? She will tell you she doesn’t have any plastic bags. Weird when her employee then gives me a plastic bag and she gets mad at her employee! I feel bad for her employee as she then started yelling at him for giving me a plastic bag.I do not recommend this P Terry’s or anyone having to deal with this extremely rude Manager (12/4/2021 at 1230am). Not to mention the soggy fries.
One of my local Austin favorites! Burgers are fantastic, can't get enough of their french fries and their shake of the month is pure gold!
Service was slow for a one burger order.I said no to Ketchup and for some reason, even the New Braunfels location, it doesn't matter. They give you ketchup anyway.What a waist of unused product.
