The food here is amazing and so is the service. I have been here three times and every time it just seems to get better. The Beef Bento Box is one I recommend and a personal favorite. The blend of different types of Asian fare all cooked to perfection, except the sushi of course, are incredible. Do yourself a favor if you're in the neighborhood and have lunch, or dinner. You will not regret this hidden gem. It's in the HEB shopping center on parmer and mopac. I even had to get a to-go box. Enjoy!
The food here has not changed since they opened... and that's a GREAT thing. Service has always been stellar for us, though we are regulars. Lunch can be busy, dinner is less crowded during the week. The sushi is fresh and they have a long list of specialty rolls. The Korean food, from the side dishes to the entrees is authentic for America. Try this place and you'll become a regular too.
I have eaten here for several years but took a short break to test the metal of the establishment.... Over the last few visits I have been seated poorly, received sub par food, poor service. This is the typical treatment for single diners in the city of Austin so Kudos to Odaku for keeping the status quo and delivering mediocrity like the rest!... Seriously you are lucky I generously gave you 3 stars.Sushi slathered in mayo and lukewarm instead of ice cold... diminutive portions... at least the staff that have been on site for the last few years may still care.
I love this place! My Korean friend brought me here and said it is very authentic. Well he was right! The food was fresh and so flavorful. We had classic Korean dishes and sushi. The sushi was some of the freshest I’ve had in Austin. So glad we came here and I can’t wait to come back soon!
Food was Very Good, I had the Teri Chicken Bento Box, more than enough food, son had his Seafood Ramen and slurped it down in no time. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food given, but service was a little slow. Mainly due to the time of day and they seemed to be short on waitstaff, but again the food made the difference. Will return again when I am in the area. Easily would have been 5 star if properly staffed, but in this day and time, was enough for a return meal.
We ordered the Bayou Roll, the Beef Bulgogi and the Seafood Octopus Bimbop. Everything was so delicious and fresh. The rice was so spongy and soft. Don't hesitate!!! Also HIGHLY recommend beating the 6 pm dinner rush. Tge restaurant fills up quickly on Sundays!!! We'll be returning FOR SURE!!!! ?
Best service ever !!! Our waitress made us laugh so much and she attended to every need and always peaked around our table to make sure we had our cups filled and all it took was a glance around and she came running to us ! PLUS THE FOOD WAS AMAZING, every worker we interacted with was an amazing mood ! Amazing mood, perfect for a date night (dim lighting)
I moved to Austin about 6 months ago and have been slowly exploring my way around. So far this is the best restaurant I've been to in the entire Austin area. The staff, the atmosphere and food is amazing. I can't wait to go back!
Really great restaurant, all of the food was delicious. The gyoza appetizer I had was so tasty, and I loved the galbi and all the little side dishes it came with. I had the miso soup and a salad as well, which were very good. The server was very sweet and attentive, and the chef came out and checked on every table. Prices were great and I highly recommend this place.
The bulgogi and kimchi are very good!! One of the best Korean restaurants in Austin and looks like very good sushi but I haven't tried it..
