My son and daughter took me out to Nasha here in Austin for an absolutely fabulous meal. My belated Birthday and Father's Day celebration. Nasha is a must when in Austin! Finest Indian cuisine I've ever tasted!

I already reviewed Nasha on Happy Cow, but unfortunately they do not allow 5 stars on restaurants that have non-vegan food. I do not make the rules, but I wanted to come to a platform that would allow me to provide a 5-star review to this deserving restaurant. I am vegan, and my boyfriend is not. However, we both LOVED the vegan samosas. He got the salmon tacos (spicy, but not too spicy), and I ordered the vegan tofu tacos. Both of us were extremely satisfied with our meals and also happy that we could enjoy both Indian and Mexican cuisine in one meal; this is such a unique and delectable offering. We are both visiting from Maine, so we will not be able to frequent this spot, but if you are in the area, I highly recommend trying out the food. We ordered through DoorDash because of my homework load, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere or service. Based on other Happy Cow reviews, it seems very quaint and one reviewer mentioned that the owner, in particular, is very friendly and even opened the doors early for them since they were unaware of the hours. I also saw many positive reviews about the service and bartender on that platform. Either way, I highly recommend this spot!

Indian food here is just average, honestly I have had way better Indian food in both quality and quantity in Austin/Texas than this at a lesser price. That being said the food was still better than the service. The place was also not maintained, specially the dirty tables bothered me. The food is the picture is Millionaire Curry, Tikka Masala and Garlic naan. I liked the Garlic naan.Editing to include reply to owner’s words- I make sure I review with full responsibility of every word I say about a place. Most of the restaurants have outdoor seating which is clean too; so I am not asking for exclusive treatment here by you. I didn’t disrespect anyone there, I was polite but I saw how some staff treated a family sitting next to me. I am not trying to buy respect btw, I am not at a restaurant to buy respect; just decent food and service. If you really think service or in your words respect can’t be bought why ask for tips beforehand! Most restaurants take a critical feedback nicely, may be apologise if there was anything wrong and work on it. Look at you being all arrogant, learn some customer service if you can; Your words reflects your service and place. Good Luck!

decent Punjabi food. if you want any heat in your food, don't just get it hot. order it extra spicykinda priceydecent portion tho

This place has an amazing evening vibe to chill with friends.. we started off with the Tikka con queso and ordered entrees kheema masala and the chicken and mutton biryani ..All of them were amazing and we loved the flavors !!Would highly recommend the biryani here and the kheema masala

I happened to go on a beautiful day, and that just made the experience so much better! The food was so delicious, especially for me being hesitant to try Indian food! I've only been once but I'm definitely going back. The service was great and friendly. The food portions look small but it goes such a long way!

Love the unique funky place with colorful and traditional decor. Really enjoy the vibe. Worth a visit if you are staying around the place. They have interesting fusion cocktails. We ordered the sassi lassi and curried margherita. Slum dog millionaire curry with lamb was really delicious and flavorful! Only problem is their ghati masala dal was a little lackluster. It was a little too soupy and they used very basic vegetables like carrots and peas in it. Wish it was more rich in lentil and better quality veggies.

Excellent India food. Don't quite understand the Indian-Mexican fusion concept. Seems gimmicky, but the Indian entrees stand well on their own. My husband went for the hottest sauces allowed and he loved it. As a Latino, I like it hot, but I don't need my nose to run, so I chose the next hottest for my Millionaire curry. Just right! As vegans, we were able to find plenty of items to eat and took leftovers home. We dined in, but take out will be a nice alternative to where we usually go on the Eastside.

Came in here on a chilly night and got an incredible meal that hit the spot! Casual ambiance with counter service. To start we got an order of the Masala Wings, which were so juicy, meaty and flavorful - probably some of the best wings in Austin surprisingly. For the mains we got the Kheema Masala with ground lamb and the Tikka Masala, and (2) orders of the garlic naan (which we could've done with one order but it was delicious so we weren't complaining). Everything was absolutely delicious, great flavors, spicy but not overbearing, and quick, friendly service. Also a surprising wine list, paired well with the menu. This neighborhood gem will definitely be our go-to for any indian food cravings.

Interesting Indian flavors! I got the tikka poblano, the lentil crackers with chutneys, and the tofu korma (and some naan that wasn't pictured). The tikka had wonderful flavor. The korma was a little too strongly spiced (with cardamom) for some in my party, giving it potentially too sweet of a taste. The naan was pretty overpriced ($4 for 1 piece of naan lol). Overall an enjoyable meal with small serving sizes.
