Not sure why I haven't been here sooner but decided to give Mr. Natural a try for my birthday desserts. Got a variety of vegan and gluten free cakes and pastries. Always happy to support small, local vegan establishments.
I know, inflation, but are these little chocolate vegan gf donuts really 6 for $11.70? That's $2 a peice. Kinda outrageous.
The food was really good wife and I loved the baked goods and the food. Awesome that it’s a vegan place too!
Full 5 stars for sure! This place has got some of the most amazing vegan dessert and food options I've seen at a natural grocer before! I would definitely say this is less of a grocery store and more of a quick cute little spot to grab a beverage and an awesome meal for an awesome price! So worth it and so cool omg! So tasty!
YummmmmFooooood: got the vegan steak sandwich which was delicious and filling. Obviously it doesn’t taste like steak (I don’t think I even ate steak when I wasn’t vegan though so who am I to judge). It resembles a vegan friend chicken sandwich more tbh, but i don’t care and it was yummy. Also got a vegan fried cinnamon sugar donut twist to go and it was so delicious. I’m a donut junkie, always searching for a vegan yeast cinnamon sugar donut and this hit the spot. Simple, sweet, perfect. It’s a really good thing I don’t live close enough to walk and I hate driving because I’d end up getting a baked good here every day.Parking: easy lot behind the building. I think I visited during a not busy time but had more than like 3 spots and it’s always nice not to have anxiety over this bit.Seating: indoor and also some outdoor seating if you are brave during these 90-100 degree weather days.
I understand vegan desserts can be complex to duplicate traditional ingredients desserts.Nothing that I’ve eaten from this place has been good. I’ve been twice. I won’t be back. The first time was vegan TRES LEECHES… awful. I mean it was a stretch to begin with but I thought let me give it a try… it was DRY!Two years later (April 2022) I tried them again with gluten free red velvet $75… HARD & DRY! The kids didn’t even eat it.I called to make them aware - I was given a bunch of excuses that made me think - why even sell this cake!? They offered me a 50% off coupon on my next purchase - I didn’t want it, I won’t be back. The point of my post is that they seem to be selling a gimmick - sell vegan desserts with great descriptions that taste awful. If you’re vegan or have a gluten allergy and have eaten amazing desserts - this is NOT the place.
Enchiladas Norteñas, ok. But rice definitely the chief needs to go back school. I was here back on 2003 . It was completely different. More authentic. I also get a cranberry muffin that looked really good outside. Brown and crispy but inside was complete uncooked. I just trowed away. This comments are with the only purpose of improvement. And make the owener be aware of all areas that needs more attention.
My mom requested a gluten free carrot cake (her favorite) and this place came highly recommended by a few friends! The cake was so good and the bday girl was super happy! I’ll be making all GF purchases here from now on!
Great place. My husband order mole enchiladas and he loved it. I had a vegan German chocolate cake and it was AWESOME!It's the reason we stopped in Austin on our way to San Antonio.
Amazing place to get vegetarian / vegan food that isn't just salads. Awesome options and delicious vegan sweets! Employees are always kind and helpful with recommendations. 5 Stars.
