Very enjoyable venue, drinks reasonably/average priced for a bar. It’s outside so it gets SO hot out there but with a concert + drinks does it matter? Definitely coming back.

Hopefully 3 stars doesn’t seem bad. This was a great little venue. It was a little small and there were some technical issues with the show, but I think it’s great for smaller bands. I wouldn’t say it’s anything special, but it’s not a bad venue at all. I would say it was overall a good experience.

On a road trip with our oldest son, we met with our youngest son in Austin, TX. Built to Spill was playing at Mowhawk Austin that weekend, and we decided to attend the concert. In full disclosure, I had never heard of Built to Spill and I don't attend many concerts, but I wanted to spend time with my sons. The venue appeared smaller than I expected, but from what I know now, there are several levels with terraces, so people were spread out. My husband and two sons were standing in front on the top terrace. They had a great view of the band. I didn't need to see the band, so I sat on a bench near the stairs where I could watch people while listening to the music. The band was good and the acoustics were good. The venue had a good selection of local beers. If I was in Austin again, I wouldn't hesitate to attend a concert at this venue again if it was a band I wanted to hear.

We came here to check out DJ Jazzy Jeff. So much fun. I lived the vibe and the drinks were pretty good. Not very expensive but then again I'm from NY, I am use to paying $15 for a cocktail. Overall a great time!

Man what a venue. Not a bad vantage in the house….that’s hard to find. Great staff and solid drinks offered to boot

Intimate venue. Sits outside so bring a coat if it's cold. Would recommend putting a restroom somewhere upstairs as well, because it's a hard walk downstairs for a sold out show. Overall it was a nice experience. Required proof of vaccine but apparently that was on the tour/bands orders, not of the venue. Thankfully I found a picture of it because we came from Dallas.

If your favorite band's tour is making the Mohawk their Austin stop, you're in luck. In a city that is rapidly growing and changing, it remains a constant. The outdoor stage offers multiple, unique viewing opportunities. Tiered, bar tops on the second floor. Intimate floor section in front of the stage without feeling too overcrowded. If you're lucky enough to position yourself on the balcony overlooking the stage, you really feel like you're right there with the artist(s).Most of the best performances I've seen in Austin have been here. They also recently updated the bathrooms. Let me tell you, it was much needed. Highly recommend.

Great venue for a show, if a little restricted in good viewing corridors. Drinks are always good, music too. Been here so many times it's like an old favorite hoody.

door people are very rude.

Great sounding indoor/outdoor, multi-level venue. They do check Covid vaccination cards or negative Covid tests before entry.
