i never leave reviews for places but i love this place. i think it’s very underrated. the staff is so kind & i love their sushi. i order from here at least once a week and i’ve never been disappointed. the man that usually waits my table is the sweetest person ever

Have been coming here for bday parties for 10yrs now, always the same Thurs every year & up to a usual crowd of 30 guests! Food is great as always, but this year we were treated horribly by one of the hostesses! We have had this reservation for months, we walked the facility on May 17 & took pics with the owner Mark escorting us around the restaurant because of new construction, we have also kept him informed via email. Host even called the day before and Mark (owner) said he was worried about the theme, so we toned it down. And, he was worried about the amount of people- 27 so we lowered it to 20, & actually only 18 showed up! We listened to what they asked! 6 of us even ordered early on before the party, so less stress on waiters due to it being a group party! Party went great, nothing wild, in fact NO KIDS or anything too wild this year. (previous yrs were definitely more!) Guests left & we helped to clean up as usual for every year! Hostess made several rude comments during & throughout, even had guests leave early due to her attitude. We brushed it off & never stooped to her level. We said 'thank you' as we left & she even stated 'not welcome' on our way out! Another waiter taking trash out started talking to us outside (a waiter we know & love), the hostess came out to purposely interfere. She then proceeded to follow us & harass us in the pkng lot! She even had the audacity to mention they’re not ‘slaves’ because a little food spilled… in a restaurant! (Video posted online!) **NOT acceptable for ANY business to treat anyone this way!!!

Mikado Ryotei is a cute spot, with a very warm and comfy vibe. The sushi is good. Definitely recommend the nigiri! Also you HAVE to get a miso soup they have some of the best!

We had a great time! Waiter was wonderful, the owner came out to chat with us. The food was excellent, drinks were yummy and we were given a platter of different desserts! What a wonderful, fun dining experience!

Excellent place for date night! The staff is very knowledgeable of sushi and the dishes were amazing! Try the spicy garlic edamame!

I’ve always ordered from here but never dined in. My friend and I waited about 25 minutes for a table, which is a pretty good deal for a busy Friday night. The manager was so sincerely apologetic for our wait, but we didn’t mind at all since we knew the food was worth it. Once we ordered, the rolls were out within 20 minutes.I got the sushi combo with the rock n roll and had a good bit leftover for a snack later. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Excellent place for sushi. There is quite a variety of combinations and the fish is high quality. There is also a regular menu for non sushi diners. The atmosphere is quaint and authentic. The prices are reasonable for the quality, typw and amount of food.

Love this place for dine in or take-out. One of the places I can get good uni and scallops nigiri and, they do a really good spicy salmon skin hand roll that is not on the menu. The staff are really helpful and the chefs are creative. Prep is done well. My “go to” place.

Wonderful place. Always fresh and delicious sushi. Amazing sake. Staff is so friendly and polite. 10/10This time we got the Love Boat for Two: nigiri, sashimi w/ Ben’s roll and Kyoto roll

This was a favorite "date night" place in the "before times". We've ordered from them a few times during the pandemic. Tonight's special touch reminded me why I'm willing to splurge to eat from here (it can be pricey if not during "happy hour"). I had asked that two sushi rolls that do not traditionally have crunchy bits be separated from the Shaggy Dog roll. The container with the two gluten-free-friendly rolls came, without my explicitly requesting, two packets of gluten free tamari sauce. They were safely separated from the Shaggy Dog as well. Those who know, KNOW. And those who are used to people not knowing, appreciate this!
