The food was great and the staff were very friendly! The rolls are pricier but they are also very large rolls. I ordered the sunset roll and the steamed gyoza both were delicious! We will definitely be back to try more.

Our server Chris was super friendly and patient as we figured out the menu on our first visit! The interior was cozy and the crunchy shrimp roll and Texan roll were very good. Thank you so much Chris!!!

One of the better Sushi spots in the area...significantly better than what's across the 183 directly. I will say creativity is pretty good. Freshness pretty good. Overall an easy place to know you'll get a decent meal. Happy to go here when I don't want to drop a big check for sushi!

I've been coming here for almost 10 years and though the prices have gone up, so has the quality. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and I've never had anything to complain about. One thing to not is that the sushi can be HUGE. My partner had issues fitting it in their mouth, but at the same time it was nice to get filled up from only one or two rolls. Definitely recommend Midori, as they've had my business for almost a decade now and hopefully a decade more.

Midori is one of my favorite sushi places in Austin. The environment and decor are cozy and try to bring a little Japanese flair to the environment. The seat is cozy with some booths, tables, and platform to tables (shoes off required). The staff and service are very nice. They were very patient with us with our little one causing a small fuss. The sushi itself is always fresh. They give you BIG portions. Feels like 2x the size of rolls at other places. Their ahi tuna tower is amazing.I drive all the way from South Austin to come here when I'm craving a sushi fix and it's worth the drive every time.

Mindoro for lunch is the only place I go when I’m craving sushi. They have a large selection of lunch bento boxes and rolls. I usually get the shrimp tempura. It come with the shrimp, several veggies, 2 different roles, rice, 2 pieces of sushi, soup & salad. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food comes out very fast. It’s always crowded here so come early. The atmosphere & decor is also very appealing. Check it out. It’ll be exactly what you’re looking for.

This is a gem. The waiters are fully bilingual natural English. The place is decorated really nicely. I appreciate the easy list menu w full descriptions of each roll and price. The main menu is a paper place matt so you have time to look over it. Their covid regulations definitely are in place. The music is young and hip. To go order of a dragon roll served w an orchid. That's classy. I'd like to come here for a date. Roll digested well. Come visit! They could use your business. My order was ready in 5 minutes!

Midori is my favorite place to get sushi and appetizers. We eat here at least 3x a month. My only complaint is that they give you a set of chopsticks for each entree and sushi roll. I have tons of chopsticks already and then I am given more every time I order. Midori could save themselves 100s of dollars per year by being more conservative with the disposable chopsticks. I own reusable chopsticks and I would like to suggest that Midori sell an optional add on pack of reusable chopsticks with each order. They would make more money and it would cut down on waste. That way people like myself who own chopsticks don't have to feel responsible for disposable chopsticks. Also Midori makes more money. :)

Very surprised by the high reviews. I’m giving two stars as a gift.My fiancé and I tried this spot a few weeks back and were very underwhelmed. Mediocre service -server forgot a few things and they weren’t too busy. Ramen was not good. Soy sauce tasted cheap. Sushi tasted odd. Not bad, just like they added miso to it between the rice and the fish? Felt like I had way too much salt and MSG seconds after leaving. Only giving two stars to be nice. Not recommended. Will not be back.
