Wonderful ambiance and great tasting food. Especially the 48-hr marinated chicken, and the baklava… definitely best med food in atx.
Great place to meet with friends for lunch. We ordered salads and we're not disappointed. It was a generous serving and we also had a variety of drink options. The decor is really cute as well. Loved their tea set wall.
Iskender was great and portion was well-served. The warm döner meat and tomato sauce combo were nicely rounded out by the cool side of yogurt. Lahmacun was also good.
I think every Turkish would agree that the food is different versions of Turkish food, but generally the taste is good. I meant different as they changed them to be more American version of Turkish food. Little expensive compared to American food industry though.
Amazing food. So glad I finally got to try this place. Service was great as well. I recommend the “MezzeMe Meatballs” they were so flavorful.
The Chick Me Out is to die for. Such fresh and tasty food. Also, the staff is great. I have a severe peanut allergy, and when I mentioned my concern about the pistachio baklava having only pistachio (which I can safely eat), the staff member immediately tasked themselves with finding out and even came to tell me at my table that it only had the pistachios and was safe for me to eat. I’ve been in too many situations where restaurant staff do not take my allergies seriously or do not bother to find out what their products contain. I highly recommend this place!
Disclaimer: I am doing this review without trying the food. how? Well, I am a foodie and designer and maven... I've been to a ton of restaurants in America and around the world. This fast casual Turkish place just had the vibe of good food and service and atmosphere.I'll go eat there soon and hopefully update this.

Such a nice and kind staff! Supper good food. Felt like I was back in Istanbul for a visit. ?
Having lived in the Adana region of Turkey and attending school there for several years, I will say that the Adana Kebab was probably the WORST attempt at an authentic Adana Kebab that I have ever experienced. What arrived on the plate was definitely not what I had remembered living in Southern Turkey. The soğan had no hint of Sumac or if it was in the dish - not enough. The pita was also not cooked on top of the meat, to soak up the flavor and juices as is the main step in cooking Adana Kebab. The meat? bland. The rice? no flavor, wasnt even what I would call an attempt at Pilaf and I have no idea what the red sauce was on the side, as Adana Kebab does not come with a sauce, at least none of the hundreds that I had in Adana/Mersin/Icel, and in different configurations. The Wait staff was very friendly and the restaurant is Turkish/Kurdish staffed as I could hear it in the dialect amongst the cooks, but my hostess would not engage in it with me when I spoke Turkish to her (and no I do not speak like a foreigner and yes she was Türkçe) . Nice young lady none the less. Also big disappointment - Efes is on the menu - but NO EFES available ?The other Disappointment? The Dolmas appetizer....five Dolmas that tasted like they came out of the container I bought at Whole foods, laid on top of a handful of wilted lettuce and a lemon slice that looked like it had laid on the counter for half a day. Will not be back......Sorry.....
