Great food… if you ever get the chance to eat here. It’s Saturday at 1pm and they still aren’t open, even when their hours show they are. This is the third time we’ve made the trip to their food truck over the weekend and they aren’t open. Quite annoying and I wish they’d update hours. Anyway, shrimp tacos and guacamole are fantastic!
Really good! A little expensive for what it is.. Only thing is the YYP is too salty. Please add way less salt bc the sauce is enough. It literally hurt to eat them bc its like eating Taco Bell. The tacos were super good though.
Great tacos and service. The YPP was seasoned to perfection—just the right mix of salty and sweet. Definitely will be back soon!

Got the braised venison tacos with the slaw, my husband got the ones with poblano and pico, both were absolutely phenomenal! I grew up hunting and eating venison but this was some of the best I’ve ever had, 10/10 recommend!
Great Food, I've been to this food truck a few times. They have weekly Taco Tuesday specials:::Pollo Asado w/the avocado salsa has amazing flavor.
The first night was so excellent that we came back for seconds! I had the shrimp tacos and loved them! The shrimp was fresh, tortillas perfectly done and portion size was on point. Nothings better than made to order food from a food truck! Can’t wait to come back for more.

Matador is located inside Lustre Pearl on Manchaca Road, South Austin.I’ve had a few different items on the menu. During my last visit with a friend I had the Shrimp Volcan and a friend the Ceviche and rate it 11 out of 10!! The Morita adobo has heat but, at the perfect temp!Lustre Pearl is now at the top of my list of places to go with my dog, listen to music, play a table game and because they have 2 separate bars. I never have to wait long to order a drink.
