Amazing fresh food, great options and variety and tons of gluten free toppings (like 90% of the options are gluten free).On top of it all, the staff is the kindest best service you'll find!
You order from a screen, which ruins the experience because it makes it clear that this operation is more akin to a vending machine - the automatic tossing of specified ingredients into a receptacle - than a restaurant. Everything else - quality of ingredients, the music and decor, the disposition of the staff - is pretty much consistent with the vending machine philosophy. Silver lining is that they surprise you with a real fork, which is a nice touch.
Fish ratio seemed bad and the citrus was overwhelming, needed some soy or something. Ordering was smooth but then the self bussing station is incredibly awkward to use. You have to lean down in a high-traffic area to barely fit you bowl inside of a cabinet, then the bins for the plates is basically on the floor it’s so low. All of this LOOKS very modern and clean…but it’s ergonomically horrible. Overall, an experience of high polish on a mediocre product.
Fresh perfection in a bowl! Absolutely delicious, so fresh & flavorful - absolutely love it. We ordered for our office and everyone is extremely happy with their bowl. Yum!
Malibu poke is the BEST POKE IN AUSTIN! My favorite bowl is the red miso salmon bowl, add edamame. This poke is so good, I crave it and eat it almost every week, sometimes multiple times per week. The only reason I’m not giving Malibu 5 stars is because I wish they’d add a tip line to their online ordering process. The team at MP make amazing consistent, delicious poke and never disappoint. For this, they deserve a tip line. I almost never carry cash and so often I can’t give the team their well-deserved gratuity. That being said, if this changes, and you add a tip line to online ordering, I will change my review to 5 stars immediately. Thank you MP for amazing, always- fresh, epic poke and for all your hard work!
Nice staff, cool atmosphere. However, easily the smallest amount of fish I've gotten at any Poke place and the most expensive place I've been to. Tuna was chewy and not good quality. Barely put any sauce on my bowl.

Come here pretty often when I grocery shop in the area. Staff are always nice and food is always good quality. It’s fun to build your own bowl and their menu bowls are pretty good as well!I love the interior in here, and it’s always super clean.
So gooood! We got the poke tacos and a bowl to go. Just the right about of seaweed taco shells and the poke was deliciousness. Wait time wasn’t bad. I ordered, then stepped into the pet store next door, and by the time I came back my food was packaged and ready to pick up and go. Lovely people there.We placed orders on the machine and it’s very user friendly with photos.
